Paiseh lah...the search for my favourite fried oyster egg was unintentionally / unplanned. Was told L14 coffee shop opened liao, so after dining outside with mikemike, go check it out if the same store returned as well. Unfortunately, it wasnt but lucky the owner enlightened / directed me to L12 coffee shop, where the store owner actually shifted there recently after the closing down of its earlier coffee shop. Real enough, the store selling fried oyster egg is really there, selling the same stuff! So, the earlier trip with mikemike was an army scout activity...hehehe....so you guys will know where to go mah...once VK's house arrest is over, I jio you guys. ;)

Hi All Bro,

I am new to Vietnam, am planning a real short trip next week as ticket to detour to Vietnam seems more sensible to elsewhere, so doing a detour from BKK to Hanoi to HCM then back to SIN.

Will be in Hanoi on 26th morning and stay for 1 night and on 27th morning fly down to HCM then on 28th morning back to Spore.

Can any bro advice on Hanoi and HCM if I would like to have some scenery shooting in morning till late afternoon, where can i contact and best advice? Also for night cheonging wat will be the best place to go for sure thing and if I prefer good lookers ?

Last but not least, wat is the reasonable good hotel in both places for hassel free to bring girl back if my budget is like 100~150 sin per night ?

At the moment there are just a few of us who are writing this who have the knowledge of HCM nightlife to be able to contribute to it. It would be great to have more input. That could be some places to add to the list, or else giving more details about the places that are already on the list.




Welcome back Wendella ^_^, would like to applaud your goot work there in doing all these kinda "thankless" work where most of us are simply too lazy to start on......:o

Actually since u have shown to be a nice & reasonable fellow, just like to fill in some pointers on why we somewhat sometimes refrain from contributing much....

In the past when any new joints was discovered in any country (including vietnam) and announced on this or any forum, tons of forumners will leech the info for their own usage (with no thanks or credit given). If you do a simple google search now you may discover that already quite a few on the WorldWideNet have already leeched the list whom Hurricane88 and you have so painstakenly build up so far and posted in other forums as their own.

The worst part is not the leeching and thankless part, it is the part which most of us here are the most afraid of as we have already experienced the last few years, that is when more people patronise that joint or outlet, the resultant effect is that either the price gets higher or we find ourselves unable to get a place or our fav gal or it is simply too crowded/popular. Note that we Sinkaporeans have a nasty habit of "spoiling" the market in every lower developing country we go to .:o

This is why normally we share the info privately between known forumners or those that have shown to be courteous and humble in expressing their opinions on SBF ^_^

There, just my useless 2 cents worth, do not mean to sound selfish or to discourage anybody :D

Ay thanks. Yes I see your points. I actually don't mind much if the info has been 'borrowed' and shared elsewhere -- I actually just enjoy the role of collecting and making sense of all the info we have, putting it into some kind of usable form. And I even don't mind the effect on prices or 'availability' of talent. Maybe in the long run, the resulting increase in customers may create more business which might result in more places opening and more competition, so possibly a decrease in prices and increase of available talent. Maybe wishful thinking. Who knows. Word of mouth seems to have worked pretty well in Thailand. ;)

I have to say, I haven't received ANY PM's so far, so... that's ok. We have a handful of guys who are actively putting it together -- maybe the list would be better if we had more but it will just be the best we can do -- which I guess so far is not too bad.

Anyway, thanks for the apprciation... just hope it helps some find some places they would not otherwise have visited. The keeper of the list had the idea to add descriptions of the places -- I think once that is there the list will be really interesting reading, and for exploring of course.

Sometimes I do think back wondering at these savable amounts that we could have amassed if we stopped cheonging, but tell myself than what the fark are we living for????:confused: Where is the joy in life if we simply work and dun do the things we enjoy in life.....:cool:

Actually depends on how ON the boss is, but definitely quite a number will closed on 1st 2 days cause the staff needs to go back hometown;) Last year some of the saloons were still open every day but limited gals :D

FYI, the big room (accomodate 10+ pax) is TAKEN UP from 5:30pm till 2am on new year eve.

end up i confirm with her the medium room (about 6 pax) for HH just in case.

Beer and liquor price remain, but additional charges of $10 per head for new year eve. If extend to SH, another additional $10 charge per head... :(
