hello! you can use VND for all your transactions there. In fact, I believe is better to use VND as there are normally problems with the change if you use USD. Some may even not give you a change for your USD. they round it up.


I do not believe it is negotiable. If you want, the goldsmiths around Bến Thành Market offers the best rates. change a bit at the airport first for your taxi into town. I've not heard of a robbery near a money changer. But you have to be careful of flashing your cash around the area.

Tourist attractions leh all can use VND even all makan & such, I think the only things that may require USD is when you tapao :D but then you can also always pay them in VND equivalent ;)

In simple words ---> use VND

On average the potential "loss" is about 2% to 3% so depending on your amount you are changing I would suggest that you compare to your taxi fare to see if it is worth the fare or not ;)

Some vn don't care...go under the q pole and go behind the Inspector to the scanning machine siah.

Travel back in morning is bad...wasted whole day...if we fly around 3.35pm we still can have morning till 1pm to enjoy or prepare...morning flight nothing except no sleep or wake up rush to airport...:)

Alamak it can never be worst than previous leh cos they just moved the detailed scanning to front before custom instead of behind customs nia nia mah :confused: somemore the pre-scanning station remove liao so total time to clear everything should be much faster mah ;)

If the time u kena long queues is still using the old system, you will still kena the same long queues after customs stamp mah tio bo???:D

Think its the perception that its longer only becos you suay suay kena many passengers lah and somemore the customs is 1 common queue :D

2100hrs: We took a cab from D1 to this place and the cab fare was abt 260,000k.. From the outside, there is a big gate and it was dark so you would not know its a KTV from the outside..

We were shown to a room, easily comparable to the biggest rooms you go to a normal KTV in Singapore.. then the waiter came to ask what we wanted to drink.. Beer was the obvious choice to avoid being a 'robert'.. the price of a can of beer should be 32,000k if I am not wrong (quite expensive for a place in Binh Duong-as this place caters to the foreigners who work here, mainly chinese, taiwanese, malaysians and koreans).

Hear-say is that there are 300++ girls but its not true.. there are easily 100+ plus girls but not that much.. On a fri or sat, you have to pre-book cos it was fully booked on that nite.. so the girls were busy with their customers cos we reached late.. then came the 1st parade, I choose a girl and Bro zaryl couldnt get one.. in the grp, the worst is a 6-pointer.. out they went and came a grp of 6-7 girls from another mummy and this time, bro zaryl choose a TALL girl.. He was already sitting with one girl who was a friend of my girl..

02) massage & haircut is really just massage & haircut for those salons in D1 around Cho Benh Thanh area, not expensive if you compare to our local prices, normally I just wash hair and massage will cost from 250k to 300k depending on which joint and tips (mandatory) to your masseus will range from 200k onwards to how much you like your masseus ;)

03) you can go for their day tours from usd15 per pax onwards, you can shop around, you can go to their theme parks if thats your thing, you can go prawning or fishing, you can go see shows as its cheap, you can just simply sit in their cafes and waste time looking at traffic, you can eat yourself silly trying out all their delicacies, you can do soooooo much things if this is your first trip there as too many trips later you may find it a bore liao :D

This place is closed ;) and the prices are also no longer valid for that area also :D

In wetnam KTVs normally they do not butterfly unless you are those super choosy types totally cannot find anything then they might ask you to choose from those that already have clients, which also means when they say they go toilet they will take at least 15mins cause they need to butterfly :D

Thats becos we this type book super early so all the timings are still the same pricing, if you check those dates only few weeks ahead normally the best timings like 7am to HCM is higher than those in the afternoon or evenings ;) sama sama for those coming back to Sinkie at 3pm or 5pm, sure higher prices than those coming back at 8am in the morning :cool:
