Finally concluded my 8D/7N Jakarta July 2016 trip. More of food tour than humsup sex tour this time round! :eek:

Total damage is S$600 for air tickets, accomodation, restaurant food & beverage, 3x Short-Time at Hotel Travel/Classic and drinking session at Malioboro and Alexis Club.

Damage so low is because due to the nature of my work I've acquainted many friends all over Asia who entertained me for drinking sessions hahaha. :p

Saving grace of this trip is I found back my good service SYT cewek from Terminal 5. Most bonks from hotel lounges are very mechanical and rush but this cewek takes her time to service me and let me pump her without hurrying me, "Abang cepat sudah lah." Hahaha really feel like making love to ex-girlfriend slowly.

Getting burned out from Jakarta with 4 trips this year already. Will lay off for a while and tour other countries for the rest of 2016.

CONCLUSION: Jakarta is a good/value country to monger for fly by punters/lone wolfs who come for a few nights. KTV session is too costly though even by South China standards. Language is also a problem if you want to maintain rapport with ceweks.

For longer stays (more than 7 days) I find Bangkok is more ideal. It is not the most value but it is good for overall.

If budget is not a problem I'd choose South China any time over the rest for long stays and Osaka for short stays.

Last but not least Jakarta wins hands down for best VALUE in Southeast Asia.
1) SIN/CGK air tickets are cheaper than SIN/DMK or BKK.
2) Accomodation are cheaper than Bangkok.
3) Western restaurant food is cheaper if compared to Bangkok. Chinese restaurant food is the most expensive. Overrated. Starbucks coffee from RP21K! Where to find? :D
4) Short-Time lounge bonk cheaper than Bangkok. For the same price you get SYT in Jakarta but in Bangkok you get MILF.

For those who have not tried Jakarta you may want to give it a try. It reminds me of the good old Bangkok decades ago and Ho Chi Minh 7 years ago when everything is undervalued.

Try CJ's in Hotel Mulia, classier venue, better band, more ladies. Tiga Pulu another option. If u can speak Bahasa and dont mind grittier clubs, Golden Crown and Milles will have.

Some regular clubs like X2 and Dragofly will have some Indies, but mostly regular club folk.

Had some time on Tue night in JKT, so went solo to Club Malio (it's at ground floor of Malioboro Hotel), you can't miss it with all the security and club entrance.

Ended up this was the first and best place i visited for the night. This is a real strip club.

The place is almost full but i still got a bar table near the stage. Cover charge was 120k, can of beer starts around 48-55k. This is a place you can go even if you fly solo.

Lots of girls there, but the highlight has to be the SYT dancers which are real eye candy. Every 30 mins they rotate, quite interesting. And yes, they do strip to the buff at the finale.

The Thai strippers do not get naked, and you must also arrange to meet them privately if you want more actions. Of course, when meeting any girl privately they can be flaky and it can be a whole waste of time. One night my friend and i get phone numbers from Thai dancers, but they last minute say they cannot come out.

The KTV girl selection is weak, and the prices are not cheaper than better KTV venues like 1001, Emporium etc..

Also, I see very few, if any, freelancers in the club. So it is not a good place for finding freelancer at reasonable price like CJs, BATS, Crown etc..

I think you did not missed out anything there. Ktv at 36 is a waste of time. Its not a good place for fl either. Closing late (4-5am) could be a reason, and frankly its more for folks who just want to have some drinks to unwind than for action.

Live band there is pretty good sometimes, and i guess the lack of thai clubs as compared to singapore could be another reason why many of the local chinese go there. Even in singapore, i still cannot understand why so many people like to go to thai clubs so regularly and throw money there.. maybe many kena KC by the girls at thai club.

So to conclude, i think club 36 is more suitable for folks who wanna have abit of everything (but not all out action). Its also a good venue for second round drinking in jkt even if you are alone.


Ps. Previously my fren picked one of the LC/dancer at 36 for full svc. The charges is about 1.5mil~1.8mil ST.. I think you can ask the mummy about it. According to him, they have rooms upstairs.. which till now I still didn't know wheres the rooms.

Club 36 made the name for being drug infested venue... So most of the patrons are there for the drugs. The KTV do have 2 voucher system where the hostess would strip... I went to Classic KTV last week... the hardware is not that great in comparison to 1001...

Classic/Travel=local/low-class? I’d say that if Alexis, Marlioboro and Emporium are high-end, Classic, Travel and KC are mixed and mid-market. They aren’t local because there are always foreigners there, which is why bros feel safe and comfortable going there. They aren’t low-class cause there are bars in a class down from Classic/Travel.

To check out two of them, u can easily walk there from Travel. Just cross Mangga Besar, the main street in this part of Chinatown, turn left, and go past the gate to Lokasari Plaza. On or near the corner is Halomas Aloha, a local FS massage shop and bar (the girls are in the back). Turn right on Mangga Besar XXII (12) and u can see Bingtang Mawar on the left and Siera on the right. There is also a newer bar near Bingtang but I forgot the name.

Otherwise, if traffic is smooth.. it should take less than 30mins from your hotel to go to mangga besar/hayam wuruk area where clubs/spa like Malioboro,classic,empo,36,suncity,illigals etc are located.

Or about 20mins to senayan/kuningan side where u have bars/clubs like CJ's,Bats,blowfish,empirica etc. All the timings are just based on google map guesstimate and may differ. Hope this helps

1) Generally Jakarta is safe. I stay at Grand Mercure Harmoni. Blue bird taxi group is trustworthy. Massage in Grand Mercure Harmoni is good. 620K/90mins. deserve the money
1) Basically spa is not cheap. Mostly service is very bad compared to CAT150 in Geylang. Charge for local girl in Alexis is 1.45 million/hour. Imports cost 2.45 million/hour. Service is bad. Local girl quality is ordinary.
2) Don't go to Illegals Spa/club. The club is dead. Very few customers even at 11 pm. Girl quality in Illegals and B Fathion is very bad. The illegals spa charges 35% tax, which is unreasonable. Maybe it is because I can't speak any local language.

I've been there just 2 weeks ago and I find the quality of the locals ceweks there very good compared to Malio or empo. Maybe sometimes is about the timing.. good quality one working so the rest left are the so so ones. I also found a short hair PRC there pretty nice as well as her friend whom both accompanied me for dinner at the lounge on 7th floor.

I'm quite surprise to hear the massage at grand mercure good (last time I tried it, just normal..). I'd rather go delta or myplace anytime for decent massage. :p Or go orchardz which is cheaper.

Spa in Jakarta is both cheap as well as good service. You're just unlucky to try the wrong girls and wrong places. If you want cheap with good service almost guaranteed , go to King Cross, Sumo Spa or D'Heaven.

Also in places like King Cross level 1 and level 2, the papi or mami bring the girl to sit with you. In that 5 minutes you can gauge if her service is going to be good e.g. place a hand on her leg. If she holds it, then grasp her hand tighter, then say she is so beautiful. If got no reaction then this girl is mechanical. If she smiles and you, bring her closer to you and she moves closer then most likely session will be good.

Lastly, sometimes just be thick skinned and directly ask the girl if her service is good before choosing. Many give a very positive and convincing nod. And you can do all this with zero or little bahasa by using google translate.

Illegals club is completely dead and reported here already, if you had done the research you'd have known. But since it's so near your hotel, not a big deal to try it, just wasting time. Girl quality in Illegals spa is subjective but I went twice and both times found very few pretty girls so your conclusion is correct. B Fashion, I don't agree because the girl changes in the same locker as you and spends time in the pool and then in the room, I found the whole package quite worth it.

As far as 35% tax charge is concerned I'm not aware of such high tax but no matter what tax, they have rate cards for all packages and inclusive of room etc should still total up to what you should be paying e.g. the spa girl for 1 shot include tax, room etc should be about 800K and nothing more. The normal massage girl should be 350K excluding tips if she fly aeroplane for you, just pay her cash directly.

Your best option is a massage package at BFashion, where they do butterfly and honey licking package.

King Cross also have some ladies do body2body massage ++, i dont think its a soapy i didnt try, but would be close enough for me.

This is a post from another website, but i copied it here because i think it is important for bros going to Indo. It seems like immigration is doing checks inside certain hotels and detaining people without their passport. It is Indo law that a foreigner must carry their passport, and they have detained people for 6+ hrs from their hotel lobby for not carrying. Not sure if some Kopi money would help. but best to avoid being caught in this situation.

" I was leaving the Novotel on 26th July, 2016 around 11:45 pm (my usual time) on my way to Blok M. As I left the hotel I noticed a group of people with TV cameras out on the street in front of the hotel but I paid no attention to them and walked past. That's when several individuals claiming to be immigration officers approached me and asked for my passport, now I was still on Novotel property I didn't leave the hotel area when they approached me, as I didn't have my passport they told me I had to wait in the van that was parked on the street. While waiting they were manhandling several other tourists walking by on the street. We were taken to the immigration office in Kota and asked to wait there until the "boss" arrived. He did around 1:00 am and those who had their passports were processed first. Being held because we did have our passport and not being allowed to go and get it, really doesn't make any sense. Until one guy claimed that we would have to pay 250,000 IDR each as a fine to leave. But around 4:00 am they (immigration) decided that they would stop processing and that we would have to wait until the morning for when the "big boss" arrives. So once again we asked why can we not go and get our passports, no answer and at this point they (all of them) started to pretend that they can't speak English so they can't understand what we are asking.

At 9:00 am the next day some of the other individuals contacted their embassy and the embassies sent someone to help them out, but what the embassy individuals did was got to the hotels and bring the passports to the office. I contacted the Canadian embassy which was of no help whatsoever. On the trip by myself I was stuck as what to do. So I called the Novotel manager and he went to my room and sent the bellboy with my passport to the office. However the bellboy got the run around for about 3 hours (which I did not have any contact with him except by phone), after 3 hrs he called the manager who came down in person to speak with the whomever. He apparently made some progress as about 4 pm on Wednesday the "big boss. Stephen Gentes" came to speak with me to tell me that I would be processed later. Later was around 10:00 pm on Wednesday in which they checked / verified what they had to do and I was allowed to leave. The manager of the hotel really did help me out quite a bit and for that I am eternally grateful.

Someone asked about a bribe but I wasn't about to pay any bribes if that was ever a topic with me I would have called the hotel manager once again to intervene. But some of the other guys were telling me that they were told they had to pay 2. 5 M IDR to get released, he got this from his wife as she was discussing this with the officers. How true this is I don't know.

This is my very disappointing experience in Jakarta for July 2016, I have been coming here semi-annually for almost 10 years. Looks like I will have to choose BKK next time for my holidays."

Hmm.. i was there early this month. Stayed at ibis harmoni, no such problem. Moved around jakarta without my passport without any problems at all (no photocopy either) and I didnt hear any such incident from my local friends.

I just share the Info. Up to you if you wanna follow. In this case, This was a random check by Immigration at hotel lobbies, not Police roadblock, which i never hear of before. Shocking they detained 45 foreigner from different North JKT hotels.

I dont like to carry a passport, but i think it is better than being held overnight or forced to pay a bribe. Usually The roadblocks are done by Police, and 100-200k for Kopi is enough. They always try scare you and ask for 1jt+ to start.

I always carry my passport with me when am overseas.

Until now I still do not understand why most people want to take this risk.
Corrupted cops are always looking for an excuse to milk foreigners be it in Thailand or Indonesia.

For the record even my Indonesia friends advised me to carry passport when outdoors.
It will save a lot of hassles during road blocks.
There are many times when I take out my passport with full cooperation and nothing happen and sometimes get very polite treatment. :p

I always think from the cops' point of view.
The faster they can finish the operation then the faster they can go home and bonk with wife.
If you make their job difficult then they will make your life miserable also hahaha.

If you are afraid to lose your passport when travelling then you are better off staying at home.

Last time I very headache with Indo customers in my course of work because they are quite demanding.
However if you put yourself in their shoes you will be spolit also.

But a shake down when I'm returning to hotel is just nonsense.

Classic/Travel=local/low-class? I’d say that if Alexis, Marlioboro and Emporium are high-end, Classic, Travel and KC are mixed and mid-market. They aren’t local because there are always foreigners there, which is why bros feel safe and comfortable going there. They aren’t low-class cause there are bars in a class down from Classic/Travel.

To check out two of them, u can easily walk there from Travel. Just cross Mangga Besar, the main street in this part of Chinatown, turn left, and go past the gate to Lokasari Plaza. On or near the corner is Halomas Aloha, a local FS massage shop and bar (the girls are in the back). Turn right on Mangga Besar XXII (12) and u can see Bingtang Mawar on the left and Siera on the right. There is also a newer bar near Bingtang but I forgot the name.

I will give bros here hints on both bars. ;)

If u thought Classic was loud and smoky, then ur in for a shock. Go in the front door of Bingtang. There will be mamasans and some ladies sitting near the door. If a mamasan thinks ur looking for a cewek, she’ll come to u and probably suggest one of the CMIs by the door. Just give a look of disinterest and she’ll take u to the back of the bar and thru the door to the next room where more girls are waiting. Just give a look of hesitation and look like u want to see more. If ur lucky, she’ll open the door to the lavatory. That’s where often the best babes are hanging out. Sometimes they have absolute stunners here who’ll make ur jaw drop. They recently really jacked up the price and now ST is 425k, incl room. The girl will take u upstairs and over to the next bldg (hotel). Note that their customers are local, so they aren’t used to giving GFE. They’re used to being mechanical. This is a typical local bar – dark, smoky, unbelievably loud EDM w/DJ, no band, packed – but it doesn’t have sexy dancers.

Siera is just the opposite. Go in and often there’s hardly anyone in there. U will eventually meet the short, old man who’s been there for ages. He’ll ask u if u want a girl, and might try to fix u up with one of the CMIs there. Show him no interest. Say she’s way too old or something like that. He’ll start to size u up, and if he thinks ur a nice guy and can be trusted, he will escort u to a special place where the choice girls are. If u were wondering how a dead place like this could make money, now u’ll understand.

Note: There r other local bars with sexy SYT dancers who r much younger than at Classic. The other girls sit in a fishbowl at the back. These bars r where the mind-blowing SYTs r, not at Classic/Travel. Their prices also went up. ST is now 330k for girls in uniform and 390k for VIPs (FLs) in personal dress. This includes use of a tiny rm upstairs. These FLs might be able to leave whenever they want. One kept asking if she could go back with me to my hotel, but I can’t speak the Bahasa so I didn’t know what the deal was. She was really hot.

Ibis is not a local brand. It is part of the same group as Mercure, Novotel and Pullman.

BTW, one of the newer Ibis is next to Grand Mercure Harmoni, so for those who like the location but are on a budget, Ibis should be cheaper. U can walk to Marlioboro from here. And u can still go next door to check out the eye candy – air stewardesses galore! :D

I don't think this is true lah... in view of President Jokowi effort to promote Indonesia as both business and tourist destination and with effort to visa free visitation from 104 countries...

I never bring passport whenever I go out in Indonesia for the past decades and I never have problem... no immigration check. They only check on PRC gals and if that is the boss did not have good relationship.

Am staying in Hotel Boribudur,People and stuff are friendly.

Happened to me once, my colleague and I were inside a blue bird when stopped by a motorbike police. Told us to show our passports, I took out my passport my laptop bag but told my colleague not to pass to him but just show. After some conversation, finally he told me to pay "fine" or follow him to police station. I told him I will go to his station but as my colleague did not want to waste time, he took out USD 5 to the asshole, but he refused to take saying, there were 5 policemen. My colleague n I looked at each other, where were the other 4??? In the end, again my colleague worried and wanted to go back hotel rest, passed 20 USD to him and he left.... the driver later mentioned, "mafia".

In this type of country, it is chain of corruptions. The top screws the country while the rest screws the citizen and foreigners.

As mentioned in the forum and to my friends.... we are lucky to be surrounded by these idiots. If we were surrounded by South Korea, Japan.... Singapore economic and as a country will be dead.

It should be. The usual protocol is the day before the holiday and it should open on the holiday itself.

I think it shld be fine... 9/10 sep... afterall hari raya haji is just another holiday to them. Fortunately i'm targetting 16sep... so dont need to bother if any impact due to holiday.

Which hotel would you recommend near Jl Expo Kemayoran?
I usually visit Malio and Classic and day spas :) for action.
7-8 Sep attending some conference and your help is much appreciated.....:)

You can probably try grand mercure kemayoran, holiday inn express JI expo, holiday inn kemayoran, or best western plus kemayoran etc. .. Certainly more hotels nearby but I think these are a few of the nearer ones to JI expo.

In any case, once you are in the area, doesn't really make that much of a difference in terms of traffic when moving about. :D

Ps. I heard there's a club/ktv at grand mercure kemayoran but have never tried it. :p
