It makes no difference. So long as your cash is real, they will offer you their best rate.

Change your money in the country of destination. I tend to get better RM rates in KL and better Rps rates in Jakarta

(3) What is the best place to get best rates for IDR in Jakarta ? Shopping Mall ? Airport ? Hotel ?

Shop around in the malls such as Plaza Indonesia but usually I can get good rates at the airport money changers just after I clear customs. Right now, you should be looking for a bid/offer rate of around 1S$ to 9550Rps. Anything more will be a bonus.

I was in Jakarta on 20/1-23/1. I was busy for the first two days, then on 22/1, I went to Alexis with two local friends. Alexis is very pricey but the place is awesome. We went there around 4 pm and there are lots of girls.
Lots of nice girls in the Vietnamese and Chinese groups. They smile at you, willing to please and awesome in the bedroom. The Uzbek and Thai were not very friendly. I didn't check the local.
We spend 3 millions rupiah each for the girl, spa, room, tips and drinks. The spa is standard, you have 30 mins in the spa with the girls and then 60 mins in the room.

I am no longer an "honoured guest" at 54A :p Have not been there in over a year ... mostly go to Gordon's at 1651 ... rooms are clean & new, Gordon is happy to "order-in" from most houses ( including 54A ) & I am welcome there :) While the quality at 54A seems to be good ( NOT MH, Rolex Jenny, good old always-ready JJ , EllaElla or my fav MIKO level ), Garrik & Meng are still a bit un-welcoming , the rooms are still not renovated and the Q's are as long as ever .... and that is the honest unvarnished truth :D

SGN$1000 is better, less hassle. USD $100 need to be very crisp and even then the serial number could be and issue.

from that choice shopping mall, but need to check several. Some give you bad rate.
In kota there's a lot of money changer. their rate usually better.

Hi All,

Here is a FR of my 3 days 2 nights stay in Jakarta in December. My FR is late as I was busy travelling quite a bit after that.

Day 1
-------
Sparks Hotel – This place has girls to choose for about 800K for 75 min session in a themed room. Chose a girl for doctor theme. It was hilarious at the beginning when she asked me what I’m suffering from & later she will do “periksaan”. As the session continued I realized it was all a waste of money & time. The girl had not much gfe. No BBBJ, no kissing. The doctor’s bed couldn’t fit us both together & I was struggling to perform the basic acts. The bill also had a few top ups that I was totally unaware of e.g. a ladies drink for 80K+.

Classic Terminal 2 – This place rocks but was crowded on a Friday. Strong competition among the mami’s ensures that you are regularly pestered with matchmaking attempts if they see there’s no female beside you. This can be a good thing if you don’t have a regular mami there or are new to the concept or cannot speak bahasa etc. Chose a girl called Dewi. Service good and a jovial friendly girl. Saw a couple of very gorgeous young babes heading to rooms or playing pool with their customers but was unsure how to get to know their names as they don’t have number tags. Ample choice anyway. For dancers who come around to rubba rubba, the pries are the lowest in town at 35K per drink.

Classic Terminal 5 – After taking a short meal break after the Termianl 2 sexcercise, proceeded to Terminal 5. Similar setup as T2 except T5 is a lot more open and feels spacious, less smoky and I found the band plays better. Mummies here are less pushy but on Friday it was packed like sardines. Had to wait close to 15 min to get a room. Girl was ok and had a good time. Compared to T2 the room felt better maintained.

Malio Club – My trip to Jakarta is never complete if I don’t visit this place which is my favorite. I only felt the girl quantity and quality has gone down a little. Other wise this place is still good for voyeurism along with a few drinks. LD at 55K per glass. Not worth as compared to King Cross where the girls stay with you longer and can rubba more. Here they are more hit and run style.

Stadium – Since close to my hotel went in and was quickly assigned a girl by the mummy. Didn’t like and got a change. The second one was young and slim. One pop for 330K. Like the room with porn being played on TV channel, music the same as the disco blazing in your room etc.

Day 2

Alexis – Was a nice first experience. A very nice and wide selection of ladies. The Indonesian contingent was the biggest and in my opinion the best. There were overpriced Koreans and the PRC were pretty average looking at a premium. Viets are so common in Singapore that one wouldn’t want to pay a premium for them in jkt. Chose a nice 20 year old fair skinned girl with very smooth skin. She led me to the locker area asked me to change and to wait for her at the pool end. Besides the pool area where I waited for her, there were several wooden cubical for guests to relax with foot and body massage services being offered. The whole place looked very classy and relaxing. Soon a gorgeous girl in two piece bikini came up to me. I was surprised she looked so beautiful in her swimwear. Felt ecstatic. She led me to a section of the pool where I dropped my towel and went in the pool with shoulder height water. There were two other customers on the other end with their girls as well. The girl didn’t quite take a dip but sat at the edge and asked me to rest my head on her lap and started giving me a head massage. A bit of shoulder and hand massage followed. I jokingly pulled her in to the water and we played for a while smooching and touching her once in a while. Good fun. Dried up and left for the room. Very classy and tastefully decorated. Smelt good and clean. Felt the light in the room was inadequate. She said the boss wants it to be romantic and hence like that. I prefer to see my partner and her service very clearly. Good skills and she BBBJ’ed me for a good amount of time before riding. After game over we chatted for a while. She mentioned she’s been to Singapore & stayed at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel before. A PRC national booked here for 3 nights straight from Alexis. She even went into the casino with him. She’s headed for Bangkok along with another friend for a few days later that week just for pure holiday. These girls are not the typical poor village girls that you pity, they are high flyers.

King Cross – As usual, had a few beers while enjoying the striptease on level 1. One of the Papi got friendly and introduced his girl Vanessa. She was cute javanese, young 20 y.o., no baby at a steal price of RP 330K only. Took up the offer and we proceeded upstairs. The gfe was immense. No hurries in the whole session, no mechanical feeling of procedures. Very spontaneous throughout and asked her for a second round and she agreed. Went full blast to unload the second round of bullets and felt very tired after that. Gave a generous tip to Vanessa and left with the usual mobile number exchange etc.
Lounge – Proceeded to the 3rd storey lounge after the firing session. Was a relaxing experience with several syt’s to give you full attention and companionship. Suprising a lot of them don’t have facebook and all they have is a BBM Pin for you. Hany was especially a real sweet 19 y.o. thing that I couldn’t get enough of. A typical poly school girl body, too off her top and sat on my lap for ages. All for the price of 5 LD’s. This place is full of talent. Am a repeat and regular visitor to King Cross’s lounge.

Day 3

D’Heaven Spa – This was a nice recommendation I picked up from the forum and tried it. A beautiful usher Indah escorted me to my masseuse. The masseuse Sonia, a 21 y.o. syt came in a sexy Hawaiian two piece to greet me and lead me to my room. It was a fabulous start to the whole process by these two lovely ladies. Later as I lay down on the mattress I was a little surprised as the masseuse took off her bra as well as her bottom leaving her start naked. Got a little confused as though the action would start immediately but no that was not to be. Sonia actually gave me a good rub all over and actually has massage skills. The soft flesh riding my back already had me a stiff on and when she asked me to turn over I was at full mast . She asked what I wanted and I asked for full service. She made a quick call saying “kamar 211 satu paket”. That was for billing purposes. Service begins and she was well prepared with condom, gel etc all in her little kitty. Wao! This is Jakarta!! A masseuse in Singapore dare not carry condom in her hand bag ever. Good experience and she was in no rush mode. Only regret I have is that I should have taken a deluxe room not a standard room as I could hear what was going on in the next cubicle & basically there is no ceiling, just cubicles all interconnected with a common higher ceiling. Overall a good and new experience . Paid her a tip and left the place for King Cross.

Illigals – They had a choice of 850K for a young girl full service package or 300K for a 90 min massage only. Got a clean massage as I was already enough quota for bonking in the whole trip. While waiting for my room to be ready I sipped a beer close to the sofas with the girls and they were a few cute ones but none close to Alexis or King Cross standards. Chose a deluxe room and it was fabulous with interior décor, mini bar, wine glasses etc. She turned on porno video in the tv and got me all excited. She also took the trouble to turn on some aromatherapy for me. The bed was excellent too. This place is number one in décor from the moment you step in to the premises and highly recommended if you are entertaining a business client. My girl was called Manda a sunda girl from bogor. She had lovely thick lips that I liked and a very nice light brown skin tone. A decent massage turned totally indecent with towards the end I am sucking and biting her lips, her blouse is torn open, skirt is all pulled up and I’m autoroaming everywhere . Went for plus plus package and gave her an additional 350K. She wanted more but I bargained. Good finish to a trip and headed to the airport in a pre-booked taxi.

Just had my first visit to Classic T2. Thanks to bros Alpharomeoo and Rambocat for the detailed info.

Since the group I was traveling with are not interested in cheonging, I excused myself for 2 hours. I caught a cab and told the driver to go to Hotel Classic Pasar Baru. Luckily the driver knew where it is.
After about 15 minutes taxi ride, we arrived at the hotel lobby. Immediately went to Terminal 2, the girl at the door said cover charge is IDR 40.000. Went in, music was blaring, 2 girls in skimpy undies were dancing on stage. After adjusting myself to the dark interior, I started looking for girls. I found that the girls to the left of the entrance are somewhat nicer looking than the right side. Some mamis tried to intro their girls, but I told them I'm gonna look first.
Picked a girl, paid the mami, and went to the room. She asked me to buy her a small tube of KY since she ran out, and I told her she could order a drink if she wanted to. To her credit, she asked for my permission to make purchases :)

i tried the private pool at sumo :D

it costs 150k in addition to the regular fee. the pool is not in the room, it's actually a jacuzzi room with a locked door located at the ground floor. you can stay here 20min then go upstairs to the massage room. it was quite enjoyable: dfk, bbbj, porn movies on the tv.

except for the private jacuzzi i don't really recommend this place though: facilities are bit run down, lounge was pretty dead, limited selection of girls (around 10 locals + few russians). they also charge 60k for the condom. no big deal but don't like this kind of unclear pricing. total cost for local girl: 700k. models cost around 1million so it should be 1.2million with session in private jacuzzi.

Honestly speaking, Shangri-la is not in a good location for cheonging. Just stick to B.A.T.S in the basement.

Here is a FR of my 3 days 2 nights stay in Jakarta in December. My FR is late as I was busy travelling quite a bit after that.

Day 1
-------
Sparks Hotel – This place has girls to choose for about 800K for 75 min session in a themed room. Chose a girl for doctor theme. It was hilarious at the beginning when she asked me what I’m suffering from & later she will do “periksaan”. As the session continued I realized it was all a waste of money & time. The girl had not much gfe. No BBBJ, no kissing. The doctor’s bed couldn’t fit us both together & I was struggling to perform the basic acts. The bill also had a few top ups that I was totally unaware of e.g. a ladies drink for 80K+.

Classic Terminal 2 – This place rocks but was crowded on a Friday. Strong competition among the mami’s ensures that you are regularly pestered with matchmaking attempts if they see there’s no female beside you. This can be a good thing if you don’t have a regular mami there or are new to the concept or cannot speak bahasa etc. Chose a girl called Dewi. Service good and a jovial friendly girl. Saw a couple of very gorgeous young babes heading to rooms or playing pool with their customers but was unsure how to get to know their names as they don’t have number tags. Ample choice anyway. For dancers who come around to rubba rubba, the pries are the lowest in town at 35K per drink.

Classic Terminal 5 – After taking a short meal break after the Termianl 2 sexcercise, proceeded to Terminal 5. Similar setup as T2 except T5 is a lot more open and feels spacious, less smoky and I found the band plays better. Mummies here are less pushy but on Friday it was packed like sardines. Had to wait close to 15 min to get a room. Girl was ok and had a good time. Compared to T2 the room felt better maintained.

Malio Club – My trip to Jakarta is never complete if I don’t visit this place which is my favorite. I only felt the girl quantity and quality has gone down a little. Other wise this place is still good for voyeurism along with a few drinks. LD at 55K per glass. Not worth as compared to King Cross where the girls stay with you longer and can rubba more. Here they are more hit and run style.

Stadium – Since close to my hotel went in and was quickly assigned a girl by the mummy. Didn’t like and got a change. The second one was young and slim. One pop for 330K. Like the room with porn being played on TV channel, music the same as the disco blazing in your room etc.

Day 2

Alexis – Was a nice first experience. A very nice and wide selection of ladies. The Indonesian contingent was the biggest and in my opinion the best. There were overpriced Koreans and the PRC were pretty average looking at a premium. Viets are so common in Singapore that one wouldn’t want to pay a premium for them in jkt. Chose a nice 20 year old fair skinned girl with very smooth skin. She led me to the locker area asked me to change and to wait for her at the pool end. Besides the pool area where I waited for her, there were several wooden cubical for guests to relax with foot and body massage services being offered. The whole place looked very classy and relaxing. Soon a gorgeous girl in two piece bikini came up to me. I was surprised she looked so beautiful in her swimwear. Felt ecstatic. She led me to a section of the pool where I dropped my towel and went in the pool with shoulder height water. There were two other customers on the other end with their girls as well. The girl didn’t quite take a dip but sat at the edge and asked me to rest my head on her lap and started giving me a head massage. A bit of shoulder and hand massage followed. I jokingly pulled her in to the water and we played for a while smooching and touching her once in a while. Good fun. Dried up and left for the room. Very classy and tastefully decorated. Smelt good and clean. Felt the light in the room was inadequate. She said the boss wants it to be romantic and hence like that. I prefer to see my partner and her service very clearly. Good skills and she BBBJ’ed me for a good amount of time before riding. After game over we chatted for a while. She mentioned she’s been to Singapore & stayed at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel before. A PRC national booked here for 3 nights straight from Alexis. She even went into the casino with him. She’s headed for Bangkok along with another friend for a few days later that week just for pure holiday. These girls are not the typical poor village girls that you pity, they are high flyers.

King Cross – As usual, had a few beers while enjoying the striptease on level 1. One of the Papi got friendly and introduced his girl Vanessa. She was cute javanese, young 20 y.o., no baby at a steal price of RP 330K only. Took up the offer and we proceeded upstairs. The gfe was immense. No hurries in the whole session, no mechanical feeling of procedures. Very spontaneous throughout and asked her for a second round and she agreed. Went full blast to unload the second round of bullets and felt very tired after that. Gave a generous tip to Vanessa and left with the usual mobile number exchange etc.
Lounge – Proceeded to the 3rd storey lounge after the firing session. Was a relaxing experience with several syt’s to give you full attention and companionship. Suprising a lot of them don’t have facebook and all they have is a BBM Pin for you. Hany was especially a real sweet 19 y.o. thing that I couldn’t get enough of. A typical poly school girl body, too off her top and sat on my lap for ages. All for the price of 5 LD’s. This place is full of talent. Am a repeat and regular visitor to King Cross’s lounge.

Day 3

D’Heaven Spa – This was a nice recommendation I picked up from the forum and tried it. A beautiful usher Indah escorted me to my masseuse. The masseuse Sonia, a 21 y.o. syt came in a sexy Hawaiian two piece to greet me and lead me to my room. It was a fabulous start to the whole process by these two lovely ladies. Later as I lay down on the mattress I was a little surprised as the masseuse took off her bra as well as her bottom leaving her start naked. Got a little confused as though the action would start immediately but no that was not to be. Sonia actually gave me a good rub all over and actually has massage skills. The soft flesh riding my back already had me a stiff on and when she asked me to turn over I was at full mast . She asked what I wanted and I asked for full service. While waiting for my room to be ready I sipped a beer close to the sofas with the girls and they were a few cute ones but none close to Alexis or King Cross standards. Chose a deluxe room and it was fabulous with interior décor, mini bar, wine glasses etc. She turned on porno video in the tv and got me all excited. She also took the trouble to turn on some aromatherapy for me. The bed was excellent too. This place is number one in décor from the moment you step in to the premises and highly recommended if you are entertaining a business client. My girl was called Manda a sunda girl from bogor. She had lovely thick lips that I liked and a very nice light brown skin tone. A decent massage turned totally indecent with towards the end I am sucking and biting her lips, her blouse is torn open, skirt is all pulled up and I’m autoroaming everywhere . Stayed there before. New and nice hotel with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, Jakarta is not pedestrian friendly especially around Grand Mercure Harmoni area. When I was there, it rain earlier but had stopped. However rain water still covered most of the roadside. When walking, you would be trying to keep your shoes dry and at the same time trying to avoid water splashes generated by passing cars and buses. There is no proper pedestrian foot path in most part of Jakarta and walking can be quite dangerous especially peak hours where you would be jostling for space with motorbikes and vehicles. Try and wear sandals and shorts instead of shoes if you don't want to be walking around in soggy shoes. Have a good time!

stayed in sparks before....one thing to note is that it gets really noisy at night... the room will be vibrating non-stop from midnight onwards due to the sound system below and at the top floor...make sure u opt for the middle floors. Next thing, if u are a non-smoker, u prob wont want to stay there cos everyone is smoking everywhere...even the non-smoking rooms. In fact, the local patrons even open the doors and smoke openly....so the corridor is filled with nothing but kretek smoke.

but overall, great location and good price...if u dont mind the smoke, sound. Further, its at fanastic location

just back from jakarta. here's my FR.

First night: Malioboro.

Unfortunately, I didn't take bro's advice to go early. I reached only at 11pm after a good meal near Senayan. The dancers on the stage were getting ready to strip and boy, was one of the dancers hot! I sat near the bar and ordered a beer. Before long, a bunch of dancers approached me to buy them ladies drinks (LDs). I bought 2 for this hot girl, and like bees to honey, 2 other girls came asking for LDs. I declined them, as they were not hot. 2 LDs (~100k rp) gets the girl topless for about 5 minutes, and you can raba yourself shiok.

As time was quite limited for me after my meeting, went to recce myself and found MP "My Place". Went to check out the place and price. After checked in hotel, straight to Malioboro. At 2 pm, it was not at full strength but the quality available was good. Landed in Jakarta yesterday, and experience the nightmare traffic jam for the first time. It took 1.5 hours, and 150K in blue bird taxi to get to Tune hotel (near hotel Classic). Jakarta is way bigger compare to my imagination.

Since hotel Classic is near Tune hotel, I swung by to check it out. First floor, there's a Classic Terminal club. The show girls outside look cute, but I didn't come in. Second floor is Classic Terminal 2. You just walk in. 3K entrance fee if you don't take the girl. 2.5K for soft drink. Mama will approach you and offer different girls. Price is 350K paid up front directly to the mamasan , include the hotel room connect to the club. There is about 80+ girls, sitting in 6 groups with 6 different uniforms, to choose from. The quality is not top notch. However, the girls are gfe, and appeared to be trained in a service routine. Once you get to the hotel room, you have 1 hour. The girl will give you a quick shower, clean you up, then start with BBBJ, and then fuck. This place must be owned by Chinese. This setting is so similar to other Chinese own setting in KL, and other countries. Kinda the buffet, all you can eat, no nonsense style :D.

Next, take the elevator up to 5th floor. Go to Terminal 5, and the setting and price is the same. There are also 80+ girls to choose from. Here, it's more spacious, and mamasans aren't as pushy at Terminal 2. When I walked in at around 7 or 8, there is a live band playing, and their music is pretty good. After a number of songs, other girls go up & start strip dancing. They not really dancing, just showing off their tits :D . A couple of dancers are cute.
