There's a VOA in Huanggang & Luohu check point, only valid for travelling within shenzhen for 5 days. And with this Visa you can't travel out of shenzhen. For more information you can ask the immigration officer.

Actually it's a special VOA for visitors coming from HK and Macao only. The visa is valid for 5 day only and restricted for touristing within the SEZ. The authority does not openly promulgate it and their policy can shift from time to time with the different nationalities...but nothing about Thai. I reckon Thai would most likely be granted but I want to be sure. I'm in Hong Kong now and considering to change my flight to bring my teerak over there for 2 days look-see then crossover to HKIA via Shekou.

Wondering if any bro may have recent experience, that's why I post here for help.Except for the VOA being for 3 days if crossing from Macau and into Zhuhai, the rest of what you write is IMHO all correct - especially the part about "Policy can shift..."

Also, that supposed restriction that it's only good for Shenzhen is as far as I know NOT strictly enforced; a Canadian friend of mine went overnight to CP and no problems - buying train tickets, checking in hotel etc.

A few months ago, the Thai national but legal resident of Hong Kong wife of a friend had no problems obtaining the VOA at Lowu but heard the officer remark that many Thais just visiting Hong Kong has been refused - ostensibly because these are WG's trying to get a second tourist visa stay in Hong Kong.

But since you and your friend is already in Hong Kong anyway, no harm/just a couple hours risk to try your luck. Who knows for sure with China rules etc?!

事发当日下午，一位大陆旅客乘坐两地牌小车从皇岗口岸旅检入境小车道入境，未向海关申报任何物品。海关关员 对小车上所载的旅客行李作例行检查。“几大捆钞票就这么随意堆在行李箱内，不管是数量还是携带方式，都让我 和同事吃了一惊，很少见到这样的。”皇岗海关旅检关员回忆。

原来，关员发现旅客的行李箱内，除了少量衣物外，居然全部都是千元面值的外币现金纸钞，只用细绳简单捆扎了 几道，随意散放在行李箱内。经清点和辨认，这些外币为新加坡元，共计达200万元，换算后，接近千万元人民 币！当事旅客称，这些货币是其赴新加坡游玩娱乐时通过赌博赢得的。

有趣的是，当关员询问旅客为何不在新加坡将这些巨额现金存入银行时，该旅客称其很想将钞票带在身边，“享受 枕着一大堆钞票入眠的感觉”。殊不知这一“土豪”举动触犯了法律法规。目前，案件已移交海关缉私部门作进一 步处理。

根据国家有关规定，中国公民出入境，每人每次携带的货币限额为人民币20000元，外币现钞折合美元500 0元，超过这一限额要向海关书面申报，并办理有关相关手续。海关根据旅客进出境频率根据相应验放 标准验放。

皇岗海关负责人介绍，旅客申报时，要主动出示本人的进出境有效证件，填写《海关申报单》，并将全部行李物品 和货币交给海关验核。需要注意的是，海关只接受纸质的书面申报，在其他任何时间、任何地点，以任何方式所做 出的声明，海关均不视为有效申报。口头申报是不行的。而对于外汇汇率的折算，以当天的市场外汇 牌价为准。

Just want to emphasize your word "tonite" as what you describe is a common occurrence there for years! And probably only what happened during that particular time of the night, as I was also by there for other matters yesterday late afternoon and saw the shops open.

Just to share with you. My family has been doing business in China for more then two decades. Some issues that you must note and a few experience to share with you.

When in China, trust no one even famiuly members or friends. Why? We used to have a rather huge fish farm in Hainan Island back in the 90s where we let our close (china) relative run the daily operations. My dad and uncles would only go back once in a few months to check on the farm. everything was hunky dory for te first two years. money was made, business improved. But, they received a huge shock when they went back and found out that the farm was sold off to another bloke! Apparently, that relative managed to changed the ownership and title deed to his name and proceeded to sell off the business which was then worth clos to 1m sgd. It was big money then!

Times have improved and so had the judiciary system. Its not so easy now to pay money undertable and get a change of ownership but please be aware of this issue.

Next, who is going to be the legal representative (发人）in your business? If it is not you, be prepared that your company may be eaten up whole by the legal representative. China legal system only recognises the 法人 and no one else. So, if legal rep decides to play punk and sell your company, you will also have no choice but to adhere to his whims and fancys.

Market is very huge in China, no doubt. But the most important thing that u must have besides money is connections. connections that will buy your product from you. No connections= no business even if your product is better and cheaper then your competitors. Its that simple. Dont forget, threre are many other similar business in China and your rivals who are more established and has deeper pockets may just price you out.

money can be in your hands, but you also have to make sure that your company's seals is also in your hands and also that you are the legal rep. but if you are the legal rep, you are subject to prosecution and scrutiny by the authorities.

in a nutshell, make sure you are well versed in the laws of china.

At the beginning of reforms, most activities were still closely monitored by the State and practices were quite scrupulous, but as China opened up, such State oversight diminished and sharp practices not only became more rampant, they became more blatant.

Written contracts? Worthless as the whole judiciary system is rigged to favor locals and those with more “Guangxi.” Verbal agreements? One must understand that the new breed Chinese never even knew Confucian values that we from other parts of SE Asia live our lives by. How many times have I gotten totally screwed by a supposed “trusted partner” who when I confront turns around and just stated – “Welllll SEAJ, that is just how business is done in China; don’t worry about it, dinner and drinks on me tonight!” Totally without shame and even with actual pride! Think about the sharp practices of our own Stealth Agents on SBF - they’re total babies compared to some Chinese businessmen. LOL!

And it doesn’t matter the size of the business, in whatever industry and in whichever part of China. Oh sure, I and I’m sure many others have had quite a few profitable ventures up North – but these I got out of before it goes belly up or I get screwed up on; which is how business is best done in China – short term and to be on top of EVERYTHING AT ALL TIMES. Don’t get lulled into dreams of building up a long term business in China because sooner or later, your Chinese counterpart is going to be the only one to benefit from the long term gains! That or be prepared to become 101% China businessman yourself!

And yes, there is the added problem of who the Legal Representative (发人 or more accurately 法定代表人) is. Duties and PERSONAL responsibilities of the Legal Representative ARE very onerous and you may not want to take up such legal obligations – but think about it; if your Chinese “partner” is willing to become such even when so vexatious, there IS a reason for him to want to be such!

my two cents as PURELY an observer is this...
1. u doing with a friend..how well trusted is ur friend, whats is his special skill that he brings to tyhe enterprise, what do u bring (if just money then once he has access to ur miney why not cut u loose)
2 Family member in china, its VERY common for family to cheat family ..again so what special skill do u bring to the enterprise
3 the china market shenzen has been open for 20yrs plus to the west (ie u 20yrs too late) to do well in business u eitehr have to be one of teh first ones to do it opr to develop a way to do thing BETTER/cheaper than existing guys doing the same thing...do u think u have either those two criteria
4 the world is cirrently and continueing to be in a slow down with the usa only now possibly improving that means possibly 5 yrs of slow business do u have sufficient capital to weather the storm?

Anyway without further information not really possible to make full and proper assessment

Thanks for directions, managed to find it by asking directions from Luohu station.

Went to Luohu cun, walked around to look see the massage places. There was even two shops just next to the police post and both tried to entice me to go in.

Decided on a massage shop, went in and got a massage. As was mentioned earlier, the MILFs are really pushy.

I got one old hag for massage but she insisted to HJ me, even grabbed my didi and worked on it without my permission. Later she asked for RMB200. Not sure which ones you're talking about but usually KTV's have their DJ's line up outside to welcome guests.

And there's nothing to worry about just going up and asking directly as they all are quite used to such questions. In fact you SHOULD just plain out ask about everything - rate for room/minimum, girls, DJ, drinks price, other charges and also if they have any "specials" on offer etc - prior to you even going to your room. Even ask to possibly look over "the goods" on offer before you actually commit as once you're in the room, you've basically given up all your leverage as a customer. And for sure its gonna be too late when you get a nasty surprise when they present you with the bill at the end of the evening's festivities.

OK, you got me plenty curious as I thought I know Shenzhen OK; but just to make sure, I just got off the phone with a couple friends - one who actually lives in Lowu and another who regularly goes there at least twice a week. These guys really know just about most "party" things in Shenzhen.

Basically none of us have even heard of such a set-up; it's more likely like what I said, just another Disco/Club where regular guys and gals go to and where hook-ups are like in other places. Certainly no way that a guy would go up to ANY girl and proposition her - "Hey, how about RMB XXX for you to come and sit with me" - which to me is how you describe this supposedly happening.

So I would appreciate it if you will relay to us what is it that you mean by what you stated about this M-Club. Or have you just read something wrongly as I do know that you do all sorts of just reading about our hobby.

You make it sound that M-club, which I figure is just another run-of-the-mill Club/disco/Bar that are quite common in Lowu - is full of WG's ready to pounce on us mongers; and all we need to do is just to come up to them and say "Hey, how about RMB XXX for you to come and sit with me" and as you stated previously, that they would actually sit with you for RMB 200 - 500. I'd think no such thing would happen there. Even at Orchard towers there's no such thing as girls expecting or getting "sitting fees" as you had stated happens at M-club.

Yes, there are usually hot dancers at these clubs and yes there are for sure some WG's there too - but most of the people who are there are just out partying. In fact, even in Chang Ping there are such "regular clubs" - and you DON'T just come up to any random girl you choose and straight out proposition - not unless you want to get beaten up. And I think the same will happen if you try this at M-Club.

Appreciate your clarification which basically confirms that Club-M is not much more than just another Disco/Bar that singles in Shenzhen regularly patronize.

From your description though, it does seem that there may be a higher proportion of WG's amongst the patrons - but nonetheless I would suggest that anybody wanting to follow in your footstep NOT go around trying to proposition ladies there/best to just sit back and be welcoming if any of them approach you. Usually present at these type clubs are opportunistic groups who will on purpose cause problems just to extort - especially those who are "out-of-place" for the venue. (I will outline their actual methods in my thread when I have time).

As to the BBS's at XiangXi/Hubei/Shatsui/Pink buildings etc, it has always been a cat and mouse game with the LE and the Girls/mommies, but of course worse these days. And time of day is not the main consideration as the LE makes their appearance at random times when these provider scamper away. Just check back in an hour so if you don't find these girls out and about and sooner or later, when the coast is clear, they will make their appearance.

次日凌晨时分，两人见面后发生了性关系。不过根据肖某松的供述，二十分钟后他就不行了。此时失足女起床洗澡 ，穿衣服准备走人。肖某松认为两个半小时的服务时间还没到，自然不肯对方走。

Yes, the quality in Hong Kong can be wanting unless one is willing to pay more; but sometimes, the equation with having to travel elsewhere to get quality/price works to just pay a bit more and monger locally.

As for Shenzhen, yes the various chuens there still do have cheap BBS’s; you just have to be patient and come back again and again if the providers are not around at any given time – they’re not there for a reason and this works in your favor in also making you the client a bit safer too.

And whilst mongering in Shenzhen is nowadays a bit more daunting – indeed in most parts of Southern China it is so – IMHO if you do a bit of your own research and take some usual precautions, you should be OK. After all, there are LOTS of guys mongering singly (especially to SZ) and nothing happens to most.

The very crowded area and streets/roads/alleyways around Hubei station - or indeed ANY train station - is limitless and it's neigh impossible to locate xiang xi cun with your supposed "directions." Just back from Shenzhen. Was being make a carrot head on my arrival. A Freelance cab driver ask if I wanted a Taxi as I was walking along to the Taxi stand. Agreed price was to be at RMB150. When I reach the hotel, he wanted RMB 800 and finally mange to lower to RMB 600. WTF. He had a driver and himself in the car and I could not leave unless I pay up. Be careful when you are new there. Thanks to your recommendation, I tried this place yesterday. Most of the girls are above average to hot standard. Everything you wrote is true and I like that the ML didn't make me give her tip. Everything is included in the 318rmb. And the boys in the locker room also didnt ask for tips but I gave the guy helping me 10rmb anyway. At SLF, it was so irritating. Two guys helping me! Most of the reputed bigger spa that I visited like皇室假期， 水立方 ， 昇逸， 太平洋 do not provide clear cut soapy massage but if you go through their package , you will likely find some interesting stuff somewhere. Example for昇逸(Zense) they have this under至尊理疗at 399 RMB for 90 min that include 前列腺理疗which is basically JG..I tried before where you will get nothing more than just inner massage but on my return trip with the same girl, I told her I cannot take it and she did a hj but strictly no touching. Very high cost with at least 300 RMB extra as tips on top of the 399 for massage. I only tried for the sake of seeing what can be offered.

A cheap options while at太平洋 is get a 松腿job at main hall that cost less than 100 and you get a SYT rubbing your inner thigh and you can ask for extension in a private room where I was told they may provide some actions. I was just in Luohu today. Bad news - the Perthden massage seems to have been closed permanently. Well that sucks.

Hi Seniors here, I have been reading this thread for hours... Hoping to find some info as I intend to go into ShenZhen from HK by MTR this weekend. However, I really couldn't find much info.

I will only go in the afternoon and may be coming back to HK at night, so I thought of just going to any good massage place that is within walking distance from the immigration. Spend an afternoon there and walk back to HK !! It's my first time !

Any brother experts here can help ? I really don't know which direction to walk towards after I cleared the customs there.

you never state ur expectation. there is no so call good massage. even clean high class joint like goldcoast，皇室假期also so so. for 松腿massage，u can visit any joint at 向西村。all this at 国贸站。rural area better.... but not suitable for newbie

Since its your first time, suggest when you exit from the restricted customs area to just turn right and again right where you'll see a row of tiny shops.

Talk to a few of the staff at these shops who will explain what's on offer and arrange for transportation to their Massage parlor in SZ.

Just be careful of those Shenzhen pimps touting on the streets. They will overcharge you.

Yes, must watch out for crook Pimps everywhere!

But more dangerous are those who (on various boards and especially on SBF) pretend to just be a regular good guy monger wanting to meet up.

You will be lulled into a sense of complacence thinking that your new "friend" is another harmless, good-natured Singaporean (Worst kind of Ethnic scam!!).

And in a strange new town, you will essentially be a sitting duck for these crooks. And not only just scams, but also extortion, blackmail or even outright violent robbery.

Just came back from Shenzhen. Visited both furong and Jin se Yu du. Must say furong the girls are much hotter although slightly more ex. At jsyd spa got 4g roaming though. Think if you go through luohu checkpoint u can take a taxi at the basement near the mtr station it cost less than 20rmb to get there, very near.

While I was there at Xiang xi cun, received a lot of wechat invitations too.

shenzhen is actually a wild jungle if you do not tread carefully
one of my hong kong friend was scammed by a wechat hooker last month
it turned out the ''she'' was later found out to be a ladyboy ,despite he kicked''her'' out of the hotel room,he had to pay ''her'' cabfare of 50 rmb as she threathend to call her gangster bros to his room

there is a tui na shop at the back alley of xiang xi cun offering full service at
200 rmb per pop,duration around 40 mins
the shop is at 1st floor but the action only takes place on its 2nd floor
this shop is behind the flower shop near the lottery shop which is visible once you exit from the metro station just outside xiang xi cun
you can find it easily if you follow my directions cheers

I went cp before and i know the way at hk airport to take the private transport, there is alot of counter there.

I want to know if they have a route to huanggang port ? Do i need to tell them i need to go there? Cos i know shenzhen there got different custom right? After when i reach huanggang then i can take a taxi cos i see the map, the hotel i am intending to stay is very near to huanggang port.

And also when i am going back to hk airport afterwhich, how do i go about it? I just go to huanggang port there and find those counter again? Do they have such service counter at huanggang port there?

Last but not least, how much does it cost? All transacted in RMB right? Not hk$ hor. Sorry bro i am a noob when comes to travel.

Click "Transport Connection with Mainland China" then "Mainland coaches"
and just enter Huanggang as your destination and all your questions will be replied.

And come on - you're taking it from Hong Kong airport, so the fare is HK$ 100.
You want to pay RMB 100 I'm very sure they'll be happy to receive this from you. LOL

To go back, yeah, just go to Huanggang and you'll spot either the eager competing agents or the ticket office for the bus to HKIA.

BTW - you may also want to consider using/clicking on "Skylimo." For a bit more, you go in a nice MPV, cross the border in it and then they should be able to take you to the doorstep of most hotels in SZ; just ask at the HKIA transport counters.

yes at HK airport head down to those counters, just tell them where u wanna go... last time they will send u to where u want... example xiang xi chun, or sunshine hotel, but nowadays they just send u to huang gang... at huang gang u cross the bridge then take a taxi...

go back same... get a taxi and say huang gang custom, after cross custom turn right there is a small counter to sit car to hk airport...
