Heard from ppl in other forum that it is not safe to rent a motor bike in phuket or pattaya, there are people there that will steal the rented bike and make you pay for it.. Is it true? I got car license and took my PT for my riding course, can i rent a motor bike with valid license?

I rented bike when i was there last month mid. cost bout 200 bhat a day. Just need to give them your passport and remmber to wear helmet there , if u fear of the police stop you for not wearing helmet.

i got no problem at all for my bike being stolen or anything because the bike all look somehow the same and they are in thai number plate.

is really much more cost saving to rent a bike or car there and is more fun, just my 2 cents.

It seems was the rate then coz that night went back Banana and she still come look for me (all smiles, no angry). Its not just in Phuket..Scams happen everywhere in ther world. Not just in Thailand alone.
Happens even in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Europe. Its everywhere. Just remember to be smart..play safe...read the travel advisories on the websites before you travel there.

Anyway, was just look see, look seeing when I stumbled onto Phuket's field report.

Had an ok experience there few weeks ago, was there for a so called golf holiday with a couple of pals of mine.

Well long story short, during our last night there, we camped from 12mn till 4am at Hollywood in patong beach. And really, that place is crawling with FL after 1 am.

Managed to hooked up with cutie which made eye contact. Sweet looking, OL type. Anyway, went over to say hi on the way to the gents. She then came over and intro herself. Claimed that her pay at work is too little that's why she's moonlighting. I promise to be fair to her.

Well she seemed quite shy about everything... maybe because she just started this moonlighting. :D Well proceeded back to the hotel to continue to get to know her better.... :p

Though it's my first time trying a FL, don't know if it's gonna be a dead log situation. Won't try to describe what went on between the sheets as my england suxs...... but she gave me the girlfriend feeling over all. And the bonus is that she's 100% enjoying it when I was pumping her. Was thoroughly sextisfied. Too bad she couldn't skip her work that morning. Or else it would've been superb.

I mean that someone is free to please a girl he likes very much by giving more money (of course !). I just intended to point out for newbies that it's not the current price in Phuket, which is 1500, max 2000 Bath (high season in January/February because of high demand) for LT for pretty girls, and can go down to 1000 LT if the girl is not too pretty or if it's late at night around closing time. Barfine can be high in Tiger bar complex (up to 600).
About girls staying with you all day long, my experience is that it depends more if the girl enjoys being with you or not, than on the money you give her.

Went to try American fried rice at No. 6 restaurant, food is priced reasonable there and served good western and thaifood, battered shrimp is a hot favourite dish there. 1st night went to roam around the street along patong beach and Rat Uthit, didn`t see any nice thai girl around, maybe expectation too high liao.. Went Christy Massage to check out the girls, mostly CMI, but damn horny that night so heck it lah, paid 2800 baht for the 'top' category girl for a soapy bath. at Cristy, the cat is 1.8k/2.3k/2.8k, service is nothing to shout about, mostly sop soap bath, end the session within 50 mins. Roam around bangla street at around 11pm and watch lots of ang mo walking around. It was my first trip in phuket and maybe I don`t have the lady luck to meet nice and pleasant girl there.. haha..

Wa, Bro, that is a big Group for u, but if u know how to drive is better or u can book a Van to Bring u to ur Hotel as Taxi only take up to 3 or 4 person for $550B to ur Hotel as there r the Meter-Taxi when u come out of the Airport if u keep going right u will see there is small Booth with the sign Meter-Taxi they charge $350B to patong plu another $100B to pay or some kind of extra charge, but i think izzt better to book a Van for ur Family just something like our Maxi-Cab which u pay for a price n u go together if not u will have to wait quite a while as they dun go straight to ur Hotel as they will bring u to some Travel Agent to buy some package, n izzt quite Troublesome with ur Baby along as the mini-van that u share with other cost u $150 per pax, so u go n see what is ur budget n comfort.. n enjoy ur stay.. . :o hope i help u to have a clear picture...

I stayed there couple of months back for 1000 Baht a night but that was off season not sure of the rates now...just call em up and check. Its besides Christine's Massage. They can arrange pick up and drop off to airport and the service is quite reasonable. When I went there the aircon in room was not working and they immediately moved me to another room but the hotel was quite vacant that time. Rooms are spacious with balcony which is a plus if u r a smoker. Breakfast is not included but they have an ok selection of Western and Thai breakfast. Room service and pool is also available.

Phuket has nice sunny days especially in november and december. this is their high season. hindreds of thousand os scandinavians flock to phuket to escape their cold weather. but of course, there can be freak storms...like the weather, it is always unpredictable. but unlikely you will run into any lousy days at a stretch. i am most of the time there....just give me a pm if you need some advice, i can;t say it is the best place in thailand. at this time of the year, always my favourit is to dive up borht....from phuket, to bangkok, then khon kaen, loei, udon thani, nong khai (my favourist) and cross over the friendship bridge to Vientianne. fabulous!!!! up in the norht, you can see vineyards and how they make wine, spectacutar mountain views and a varied list of attractions. suits all. i got nothing to do...just want want to drive around....pm me. car rental is so damn chepa....1200 bah for a day, unlimited mileage.....then whent ired, just pop into a small hotel, sometime, for 250 habt, you even get an aircon room....for the adventurous....! ia m old but young at heart, still can do leh.....

Bro, if u take a meter-Taxi is about $450B plus some charges from the Airport as the meter will start by the the Taxi Driver but the charge will show about $325-$350B when u reach Patong so plus the chages izzt $450, if further from Patong will cost more but i have not stay outside of Patong before, so cannot tell u guy how much it will cost.... :o

Almost everywhere i make some new friends ... foreigners tat are visitors or thai ppl working there are friendly there. Think the only ppl til now i have not make friends are the waitress n bouncer in Hollywood.

Hmmm seems like i have hard time finding ppl to come phuket together or meet them here.

Think maybe next year march i maybe coming again ... this time will be more cheaper but not sure will it be more fun as its low peak season.

Will post more about my trip in here when i return back to singapore ... cause wireless in my hotel is too slow n low signal.

You guys are correct about Low and High Season. However, there is no such thing "Low Peak" or "High Peak". Hihi everyone. Finally able to sit down and type what i have experienced during my stay in Phuket.

Well times really flies over there ... 5 nights over there flies very fast ...

I reached Phuket airport on 30 Nov @ around 9+pm ... reached my hotel around 1030pm ... as its my 1st time there, so asked the staff @ the hotel how to go to the bangla rd ... he's friendly bring me there on his 125cc bike ... reason is because he also meeting his friend @ the area, so he sort of give me a fast guide how to go frm my hotel to bangla street. As i am very tired tat night so just went for a walked on the bangla street to locate where HollyWood is ... after tat have my super late dinner and went back to the hotel.

The 2nd night nothing much also as the friendly staff took me to bangla rd for dinner b4 it start a heavy downpour. So we decided to sit @ 1 of the bar below HollyWood for a drink ... b4 going up to HollyWood for a look ... not many people around so decided to go to Tiger ... but due to some reason decided to head back to the hotel without party out @ any disco.

3rd night, finally i was alone @ bangla rd so decided to pop in Hollywood around 11pm ... as usual its very quiet in there til around 1130pm more ppl are popping in and eventually its crowded with ppl ... i just sat there to enjoy my beer and the music til around 12+ then start to flirt around with a gal ... haha its so fun ... after tat met some girls and got to see them again on my 4th n 5th night there. lol

Bro trust me no matter how you prepare your Vitamin S..there is not enough.. u imagine that i have to take 1 day rest yesterday from all the release of my army.... brought a box of 12 condom almost finish up liao....

Hollywood Do & Dont..

1. Do bring in lots of small notes like 20B n 50B for tipping toilet service staffs and waitress. Everytime u enter the toilet or order a drink, they expect U to tip them..

2. HW has 2 area.. Inner and outer.. Do stay in the outer area.. Music, girls and service is better.. Inner is for the regulars and rich farangs.. The music and service is lousier although waitress is damn chio but super tao..

3. Do buy the girl u fancy a drink.. Do not go ask the waitress to
bring her over.. Waitress is not a mamasan! U'll be the butt of jokes
that night! Dun sia suay SG face!

4. Do not sian the regular u see on the website.. Cos they are working
as PR there.. Their job is to oversees the party that night and are
not looking for customers..

5. Do take a look at the toilet wall when U go in cos u'll be able to

1st day 11 Jan 2010, arrived from pattaya when pattaya for work.

Was pick up by transfer arranged by hotel at 700B. usually i will used airport meter cab at only 650B plus airport surcharge. This time round i used the hotel transfer cos i am not really sure where the hotel is located all i know is located behind Jungceylong Shopping and i have never venture to that area before.

Arrived airport at 1pm phuket time, walk out to the arrival hall saw the driver holding my name. Very good service assisted to carry my luggage. Hop onto his toyota camry.

Reach Baramee Hip Hotel at 1.45pm, did check in was requested by the front desk to make full payment for the guest room. I was what if i want to check out early can i get a refund. No was the answer as this is the peak season and they are running full house..wow i tot very arrgont.. Never mind this will be my first and last time stay here at the hotel.

Was escorted up to the room by a quite cute looking staff.. ok not so angry anymore.. she kept saying sorry as their hotel is full...etc... Tink reach 6 floor the highest level shown to the room..wow new htl but used old fashion way key not key card to open the door.. ok room looked nice slight bigger than my room. shown how to use the safe and she left the room. gave her a 50B as tip she was smiling...

We made arranged for Phi Phi Island Tour for day 2 & Driving tour at Racha Ya on Day 3 and City Tour on day 4.

Phi Phi Island tour per person 1400B, inclusive of Hotel pickup, lunch, light snack and drinks. Racha Ya diving for Bro Senti was 3600B and mine was snorking only at 1300B. City Tour as per Mr Mark he only charge the enterance fee to Big Buddha at 800B which was a good deal.

After settle our day 2 to day 4 activities we decided to head back to hotel was a rest as it was really too hot for the both of us..

Head back to hotel, discover that there is no coffee making facitlies and they only have 2 pin plug so all my charger cannot be used as it all 3pin plug.
Called the reception and asked if they have coffee making facitiles was told they dun provided and what abt adapter dun also.. i was like WTF....So i change into singlet and short when to jungceylong to look for adapter...
