Application details harvested from job portal being used in new scam tactic
An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Just got off the phone with a scammer from India who claim that they will push my profile to xx company and xx company for a fee. He then transfers the call to his "senior" who gave me more details (just BS script from the job description) and make it sound amazing. This that package included, medical and blah blah. After which he says in order to proceed I need to make a payment first via a portal. Fired up one of my virtual machines in case its some shady link and run the link inside...
