anyone here invest in REITS? I'd like to know how the dividend yield is arrived at. Eg, If they say the dividend yield for the year of a particular REIT was 8%, how is this 8% arrived at? Is the 8% based on the dividend amount over the par value of the REIT or is it based on latest market price of the REIT?
