Chitchat Battle Royale (Part 1): Empress versus Empress

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Below is a recent picture taken of your country's ruler and his royal consort on an official visit to the land of the rising sun. Correct me if I'm wrong, it was taken on September 27, 2016.



Let's discuss what it tells about the two empresses.

1. Empress Michiko looks very regal and stately in her grey attire. She appears to carry herself well, despite the fact she's at least twenty years older than Empress Ho.

2. Empress Ho, on the other hand, in a 2-piece outfit looks like a kopi ah-soh visiting her relatives on Chinese New Year's Day. Her imperial blouse doesn't match at all with the blue pants she's wearing.

3. Wait, what's that she holding? Is it another one of those 14 USD handbags made by some physically-challenged kids? The color of her handbag jars with the overall color that she's trying to project.

4. Is Empress Ho wearing sandals or shoes? It's difficult to tell from the picture. But one thing's certain: the color of her sandals/shoes doesn't match at all with her outfit. Compare her choice with that of Empress Michiko's. The Japanese Empress' dress sense is impeccable.

5. I don't know who advises Empress Ho to take a handbag with her, unless it contains some goodies or candies for Empress Michiko. According to international protocol, it's not obligatory.

Important question: Why is it this time Empress Ho didn't mobilize her coterie of porlumpars and sicko-fans (sycophants) to put a positive spin on their Facebook and Twitter accounts?

N.B.: Both empresses are commoners by birth yet Empress Michiko is able to present herself well on the international stage, thereby enhancing the positive image that foreigners have of Japan. The other empress projects an image of her country that is full of low-borns, half-breeds and mix breeds, like the mismatch between her outfit, handbag and sandals/shoes.
