TAIPEI: At least 21 people are injured following an explosion on Thursday night (Jul 7) on a commuter train in Taipei.

According to a report by Focus Taiwan, the train was near Songshan Railway Station when it exploded and burst into flames.

The cause of the blast and the fire is not yet known, according to local media.
