We are doing our part to oust Ah Loong at the same time. Isn't it a fun year? Hee.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 — More Malays will be coming for the Bersih 4 rally here later, PKR lawmaker Rafizi Ramli said today, even as the crowd of demonstrators so far appeared to comprise mostly non-Malays.

The Pandan MP noted, however, that the proportion of Malays to non-Malays would likely be equal at today’s rally, compared to 70:30 or 60:40 at previous demonstrations by polls reform group Bersih 2.0, after PAS pulled out from participating in the Bersih 4 rally.

“I think it appears like there is a much higher number of non-Malays, but it is not right to say that it is a completely non-Malay crowd. If you come down, you will see for yourself the Malays are just as big, maybe not as big as previous rallies but more will come later,” Rafizi told Malay Mail Online at Sogo here.

“Perhaps those who did not join us the last time will be coming in droves now. The ratio is likely 50-50, whereas in the past, the ratio was maybe 70-30 or 60-40,”the PKR secretary-general added.

Thousands dressed in yellow, Bersih’s signature colour, have started marching in the capital city towards Dataran Merdeka for the Bersih 4 rally to call for institutional reforms.
