Michael Fam dies aged 87.

Former Executive Chairman of Fraser and Neave Group Dr Michael Fam has died.

Dr Fam died at 10.05am on Saturday (Dec 27), aged 87. Dr Fam died of end-stage prostate cancer.

Dr Fam was one of the most prominent figures in the Singapore business and government circles and had a distinguished record of public service. He was also former chairman of Singapore Airlines, the Housing & Development Board and the then Mass Rapid Transit Corporation.
