Jay Chou, the popular Taiwanese MandoPop star held a performance at the National Stadium this evening (Dec 27) after having had to postpone his original concert set for November 8 due to problems with the grass.
While the concert was generally a success, it was not without several major pitfalls.
For those who bought tickets to Jay Chou’s original concert set for November 8, some had to cancel their plans, sell off their tickets or get refunds as the change of date made it impossible for them to attend.
It was also difficult for concert goers to get a refund as all applications needed to be made by November 9.
For those who were able to make it, they faced even more problems as the Multi-Billion Dollar Sports Hub Leaked water through the ceiling forcing fans to have to use umbrellas:

Other fans took to facebook to complain about the sound system and lousy tickets.
For those who complained about the leaking roof, Sports Hub offered them Ponchos:

Many netizens mocked Sports Hub for their pathetic responses and questioned how good the Billion-dollar National Staidum really was.
It had earlier been plagued with problems regarding the grass as there were problems with the pitch growing. The grass had been a special $833,000 synthetic-natural hybrid intended to be long-lasting but it had many problems growing.
In fact, Sports Hub even brought in $1 million lights to help the grass grow, only to later say that they would be covering it over with an all-natural pitch.
