“Beware of Scams!”

Please beware of shopping here especially at the first 2 levels. Some shops advertise very low prices but then refuse to hand over the goods AFTER you have paid the advertised sum if you dont pay a further large sum (which they call an "activation fee" or "warranty"). It is pure daylight robbery and even the police cant help you get back your money.

In other words, STAY AWAY and buy from a reputable department store instead. You have been warned!

“SCAM ALERT!”
2 of 5 starsReviewed 5 November 2014 NEW
SCAM ALERT!
Typically for shops located on level 1 and 2. (Be careful on other levels as well).
Scam process:
1. Quote a gadget (usually phones) at below RRP, but still appears reasonable. Eg, Quoted iPhone 6 at $980, where RRP is around $1100.
2. Get you to inspect the gadget. Once you are ok, proceed for payment, but shop holding to the gadget.
3. Once payment is made, shop will get you a form to sign as a mark of the transaction.
4. Once you signed, they will inform you that you had agreed to purchase a shop warranty.
5. If you reject, they will not give you your gadget or your money back.

If you meet with this issue, you may contact Singapore Police Force hotline at 999 to request for assistance.
Note that, from past experience, you will never get back the full amount you paid for!
It is best to avoid getting into this kind of situation.

There are sign boards at level 1 (near the lift) with a list of black listed shops populated and maintained by Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE). Avoid the listed shops at all cost.
