Thumbs up Why NCPG must pull the ad, and why Chuan Jin, Ser Luck are clowns

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

NCPG Singapore released some sort of statement saying they will not be removing this ad, because this is a very serious problem and that it still sends a message.
I ask, what message??

(1) Problem gambling is a very serious problem, yet, we have 2 casinos seated right at our doorsteps, which we were all told would not be a problem for gamblers, but we have learned that it is NOT true. I cannot even count how many people I know who have the $2,000 annual "membership". And the $100 one-time admission fee and the $2,000 annual fee is used to produce this kind of ad??? The PAP government refuses to acknowledge that the casinos are a HUGE problem for problem gamblers but everyone of us can tell you at least one story. They continue to run this country like a business and the casinos are definitely necessary to maintain income for the country. BUT, we are NOT a business!! We are a country. A country of citizens who do not need the extra "incentive" to get involved in more vices. And then there is prostitution, but that's a whole different topic.

(2) An ad sends a message, sometimes many more than just one message. It is supposed to communicate that message effectively. It sometimes evokes emotions. It is supposed to drive behavior. Commercial ads create "branding", Non-commercial ads, on the other hand, does not try to steer the consumer to spend money on a commercial product or service. Instead, it creates awareness. Whatever the case, an effective ad conveys a message. When an ad, like this NCPG ad starts getting ridiculed, the message gets lost.
It is understandable why they picked "Germany" for the ad. It is realistic. But what happens when "Germany" wins it all (they can still pray "Germany" loses in the final)? The message gets lost. Problem Gambling IS a VERY serious problem and when the message gets lost, then WHAT IS THE MESSAGE?
After Germany's win, not only Singaporeans started picking on the ad.
I think The Guardian was the first international organization that started ripping the ad apart.
That was followed by many other international organizations, like
