Two police officers killed in cold blood as they ate lunch

Las Vegas, USA: Officers Alyn Beck, 42, and Igor Soldo, 32, were killed by a couple who burst into a pizza restaurant.

Two Las Vegas police officers were gunned down in a shooting rampage in Las Vegas yesterday have been named.

Officers Alyn Beck, 42, and Igor Soldo, 32, were shot dead as they ate their lunch in a pizza restaurant in the city.

A shopper was also shot dead by a pair of Bonnie and Clyde killers who then turned the guns on themselves as part of a ‘suicide pact.’

The two cops were ambushed by the male and female suspects as they stormed a pizza restaurant shortly before 11.30am screaming “this is the start of a revolution”.

After shooting the two officers the pair were reported to have stolen their weapons and ammunition before running out of the restaurant.

One of the officers was killed at the scene while another died in surgery after being taken to a nearby hospital.

The two suspects then shot a shopper inside a local Walmart supermarket.

Earlier reports claimed the victim had opened fire on the couple as they ran into the store screaming for everyone to leave.

Assistant Sheriff Kevin McMahill said the male shooter, described as a tall white man, yelled “everyone get out” before shooting.

The man and woman then went to the back of the store and “there was some kind of suicide pact,” McMahill said.

The shooters were carrying large duffel bags and took their own lives as a Las Vegas SWAT team neared the scene.
