[Malaysia] - Rape attempt on 3 yr old girl who got decapitated and her head severed alive (when the rape failed), murderer and attempted rapist still at large.

A girl in Malaysia between the age of two and the half and three has been found dead yesterday (May 29), after she went missing while shopping with her mother earlier the same day.

According to New Straits Times, the toddler was found murdered, with her severed head found beside her body at the bank of Sungai Klang near KTM station at Jalan Hishammuddin, Kuala Lumpur.

Dang Wangi police chief Assistant Commissioner Zainuddin Ahmad said a witness saw the suspect taking the victim towards the murder scene from a shopping complex near Pudu Sentral, where she had been shopping with her mother.

The witnessed described him as a "dark-skin foreign man of above age 30".

It is learnt that the murder was witnessed by at least one public member, who immediately notified the police.

The suspect fled the scene soon after realising that his inhumane crime was noticed.

Malaysian Police do not discount the possibility that the incident involved a rape attempt.

A manhunt has now been launched by the police in search for the suspect connected with this gruesome murder.

According to news reports, the mum was jobless and homeless. She'd been window shopping. She left her toddler with friends to go to the toilet. When she returned, the little girl was missing. The murderer is believed to have drowned in the Klang when he tried to evade capture by members of the public. He was seen gasping for air as the strong currents swept him away.
