Thumbs up Indranee: More grads means higher chances of retrenchment

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Yet the FAP Traitors have no qualms importing FTrash with fake degrees. What then is their ulterior motive? If the FAP Traitors hate SGs so much, why don't they leave the country since many of them would have secured PR elsewhere?

Indranee: More grads means higher chances of retrenchment

May 29th, 2014 | Author: Contributions

Indranee Rajah says that poly and ITE grads should consider
other routes of progression besides obtaining a tertiary degree. If there are
more graduates, there will be higher chances of retrenchment among the
group.

Indranee Rajah’s comments mirror the baloney of Khaw Boon Wan who said that a
degree is useless if you can’t get good jobs.

Why are PAP ministers trying to dissuade our poly and ITE graduates from
pursuing further studies to upgrade themselves?

If a university degree is not vital to judging a person’s capabilities, can
we suggest Indranee to tell the PSC to open all civil service positions to
diploma holders? Can Khaw Boon Wan tell the MFA to drop the requirement for job
applicants to have a good honours degree?

More importantly, if Indranee is so concerned about the glut of graduate job
seekers, why didn’t she vote against the Population White Paper instead of
excusing herself from Parliament that day? That is no different from the
“flip-flopping” that she has unjustly accused The Workers’ Party of. In fact,
it’s worse. It’s called hypocrisy.

Finally, if she is so concerned about competition in the job market among
degree holders, why is her Ministry awarding $36m of scholarships to foreign
students every year?

Would Indranee Rajah please explain?
