5 football fans were arrested for causing a ruckus at Jalan Besar Stadium yesterday night after the match between LionsXII and Darul Takzim.
About a hundred fans were enraged after not being able to watch the Malaysia Super League match despite having bought tickets.
According to a report by Shin Min, 10 police cars and five riot control vehicles were called in to manage the scuffle between the Malaysian fans and the police.
In the video of the fight which is circulating on facebook, the fans could be heard yelling: "People pay money, not free you know" and "I came here from very far, jam somemore."
In yesterday's match, Singapore's LionsXII lost 2-3 to Johor's Darul Takzim.
