hey I'm quite curious as to whether you guys wear the short they provide or just cover your naked self with the towel and lie on the bed. can someone shed some light?

If those clean spa most probably they ask you to wear. Spa that you know they provide special service than you can just use towel to cover, just tell them you not use to wear shorts during massage. Hope this info helps.

when u wear shorts do u mean u take off your underwear as well? a few times at my local tcm shop during tuina she had to pull down the shorts to massage the butt and when she massage the thigh also, have to tuck in the towel into my underwear.

sometimes i feel like just taking off the underwear and just wear the shorts they provide but scared the masseuse might feel disrespected...

Bro, they provide shorts is to replace your underwear. Cos if you wear your underwear during massage it might stain with the massage oil simple as that.

For clean TCM tuina, i normally wear their short with my underwear too

because i not sure they change the shirt for every customer or not.

stain oil is no big deal, can wash mah.

Decent MP will normally provide disposable underwear or shorts for you. Will change it cos you might get your own underwear/boxer stain with the oil they apply.

If you are in a MP that you know is going to provide u special, just strip everything and lie down, no point wearing anything cos u will be naked anyway.

that's where the problem lies... I'm trying MP that I've never been to, that's why I don't know if they joint is clean or not.....

first time there they give you just wear lor. If got specials than she will know how to arouse you . Normally i jux strip naked, whether clean or special provided, doesnt make a difference as there will be towel provided. Either ways, if its clean the massage will just carry on as usual. The masseur wont make a fuss over whether u wear underwear or nt.
