ICA immigration rules for VN nationals
Hi all, slightly off topic a bit, pls bear with it. VN nationals are currently allowed to enter Spore for 30 days without the need for a visa. Question: If a VN national enters Spore for the first time, then leaves Spore (for M'sia or return to VN), and two days later he attempts to enter Spore again using the "30 days visa free entry" rule, will ICA allow? Or will ICA like reject his/her attempt to enter Spore as it finds it suspicious for a nationla to stay in Spore for 28 days, leaves for anotehr country and retusn after just 2 days? TIA!

Since 6 to 8 months ago, Vietnamese gals has been given 14 days Visit pass if their passports has mulitple SIngapore visit pass stamps before. But these did not stop the influx of gals yet. Just a couple of weeks ago, i notice a new trend at immigration at Changi. The gals are either given 7 days or refused entry. Last week when i flew by Garuda back to SIngapore, i notice a great drop in the number of vietnamese gals entering Spore. At the Changi ICA Immigration, most of the gals were refused entry into Spore as their passports has mulitple Spore Visit pass stamps before. As for bros who are still using the malaysian trip method to lengthen the Vietnamese gals stay , this method doesn't work anymore. There will be a high chance that your gal will get a 3 days stamp upon returning from malaysia. There are just my observations |

Not surprising and I was also told ICA were aware of hanky panky stuffs from viet/prc gers. Tats why they have these strict requirements now. But there is this checkpoint at eastern end. I did try once and my ger was lucky to get 14 days stay when she came back from Johore after exhausting her 29 days in Spore. Woodland.. not so lucky lah. |

Re: ICA immigration rules for VN nationals
not sure of the policy for vn and prc, but maybe i can share my experience wif filipinas. cos i had filipina gals before and know quite a few of them.
first timers usually get 14-day social visa. subsequently they will "exit", usually to malaysia (jb or genting) or bintan. when they return, usually get 7 or 14 days. if they do it too often, after some time, get 3 days or even "a-to-a" (airport-to-airport, ie. they cannot enter and will have to fly back home within 24 hrs). usually will be able to get a longer stay if they travel in small groups (3 or 4). or if bros accompany them, as their friend, they could get up to a 30-day stamp (but never admit u are their bf, cos if anything happen, u will be in trouble too). alternatively, the gals should behave normal and not look too scared or suspicious. of course it helps if they can answer any qns posed to them (eg. one gal i know came back a few days before national day from bintan, and when asked told the immigration officer that she come here to visit a friend and watch the national day parade and fireworks). however i also notice that the immigration is getting stricter now. i found out abt 3 days ago that a group of 4 filipinas were totally denied entry to singapore, even though they have never travelled here before! sorry for the long post... just sharing my experience and wat i know. cheers!
