how can i avoid paying a foreigner rate.

Hi

i'm not asian and i visited Lor 18 street today. all the OKTs siad that i have to pay 80$ for the Thai girls. and wouldn't change there minds.

can any one recommand another place, or a way that i can pay the normal price?

your $ is 4 times what my money is worth and i can get a great WL at home for about your 40$ (i mean that the "new" price for foreigners is very high).

Which country are you from? I'm sure that the bros here would not mind taking a holiday there if the good WL are going for that $.

Either you start becoming a regular with some OKTs or
I guess you can try the freelancers.....

well its actually an international practice out to gte horney bastard like us in singapore u get charged double in japan we get charge extra too in hk also extra in thailand if we can't speaks thai or without a regular following we kana chop too so dont sign it has been on going for so long alrady unless u can speak fluent local dialect

My Japone boss visited L18 Thai house 3 times a week and finally got local price after 2yrs! The moral of the story is......for foreigner, expensive to become local la!

If u don't like discrimination, go to cat150. Same price same sevice as local here.

Did you tried out L6 outlets, probably some of the houses there don't charge you extra.

I think it is the same everywhere. Singapore Chinese visiting China would have to pay a different price because of our Singaporean accent.

Do go with some locals that you are confortable with and make sure that they are comfortable cheonging with you. Then you can avoid paying the tourist price. Otherwise, frequent only one spot frequently and establish a good rapport and you will be treated like any other locals. I was paying S$200 when i started my GL escapade but that was more than a decade ago. Now the girls will automatically instruct the OKT to charge me the standard rate. Investment do reap returns and bigger investments reaps bigger returns. It applies everywhere. Even in your hometown.

For foreigner, $200 for cat150, $100 for cat80.

As for cat40, $80 for 35~40mins, for local is $40 for 25min.

Not truth OKT charges the full rate $200 if they know they are dealing with a foreigner....I seen for myself how one OKT pass off a CAT80 to a Jap for $200..

tried Lor20house40.I am the regular there. I don't think the OKT will charge you more then $40 unless you want twice or "Shuang fei" lor.

Hey section 21,

Listen bro, they did the same thing for me the first time i went... but then i realised why. If u give them a reason to, they will charge u more. Knowing ur a foreigner doesnt mean they will charge u more.

Heres what you do.... read thru the FR's of some ppl here in these forums. Note down the girls number, house number etc. Walk straight into that house. Dun ask anyone how much its going to cost or anything. Go straight to the guy you think is in charge. And just tell him the girls number, and hand him a 50$ note. He'll give u 10 back and u get 30 mins with the girl. He'll think either u know someone who comes here often, or you have visted sometime before.

Dun hesitate. If u do, they'll think its ur first visit and charge u more.

If the OKT says its 80$, say that ur friend came here and went for 40 dollars and ur friend told you to come to that house. And make up a chinese name for your friend, some name that you've heard of preferably. Any name will do. He wont know. He'll let u through for 40$.

Either that, or take some local friend with you, who can speak the language and can get you a good rate.

Basically, You dont need to keep going to the same place again for a long time to get the 40$ rate. Just that if you go regularly, the OKT might give you 5 or even 10 mins extra. I know a friend who gets 45 mins with 40$. But he goes there so often. Like almost every other day. And more than one session on weekends. But all he gets is extra time. Newbies and foriegners can get normal rates, they'll just be a little bit strict with the time...

negotiate, negotiate negotiate. :P Say the houses on the other road giving for 40, but the girl i wanted to visit is busy or something like that.
