Cabby who reclaimed the pride of Singapore men gives himself up to police

The Star/Asia News Network Tuesday, Oct 29, 2013 PETALING JAYA - A Singaporean wanted for the alleged murder of his wife's lover in Pahang earlier this month has surrendered himself to the police. The man is believed to have stabbed the lover, a 33-year-old China national who had previously worked in Singapore, in the wee hours of Oct 13. The incident allegedly happened at the suspect's house in Triang. The victim later died of his injuries while the suspect's wife, who was also attacked, is recuperating in the hospital. Police recorded statements from the wife, also 33, and sought Interpol's assistance to contact the victim's family in Guangzi, China. The murdered man, who had worked as a supervisor in a food outlet in Singapore, had reportedly come to stay with the suspect's wife, a Singaporean permanent resident, at her invitation to purportedly protect the woman from her abusive husband.
