Transit Hotel that allows 2 couples in 1 room?

Having a 4some for the first time (2 couples), but need a hotel that will allow the 4 of us in 1 room. Normally, ill take my FB to H81 but i doubt they'll allow 4 ppl in 1 room?

Besides, even if they allowed 4 in one room, their rooms are quite small (except bencoolen so may consider that one), wont have much room to maneuver.

Some H81 have 'family room' with 2 queen sized beds but theyre only available for overnight stay, not transit.

Does anyone know of a hotel with transit rates that allow 4 people in a room? Even with one bed is ok, we can share.

Not sure if what you are intending is what I am thinking (hiak hiak hiak 4P)... But anyway, all hotels would smell something fishy if 2 couples walk in trying to book a rm on transit...

Usually what you can do is 1st couple books the room, checks-in and wait. Forward the room number to the 2nd couple waiting nearby, hence, if the 2nd couple can graciously walk in to the room direct... if they get stopped, synchronize your excuse so frontdesk may call and check with 1st couple.

Usually if the hotel concierge sees a party (3's a crowd), they would "pro-actively" offer a bigger room to accommodate. My 2 pals with 2 ktv gals were driving desperately in the middle of the night looking desperately for a room for their deed with no success, in the end tried the above while the 2nd couple park the car and wait.

Yep a 4some. Does Strand hotel still offer transit rates? I was thinking of having 1 couple go in and book the room and occupy the counter staff, then the 2nd couple just walk to the lift area.
