Well, as usual with the previous year end...I shall present a round-up of this eventful year - thru my eyes.

2004, what a year! A whole new meaning to the word - Politics. Potential wannabe leaders should learn how to direct a gun shot across rather than inward your skin! And from there...u'll see the wonders of a compassionate act call "Vote Swinging". On to a bigger political dish: someone...anyone...tell dat Kerry fellow that a crooked face aint gonna help, maybe he should learn a thing or two from Ah Bian.... ahhh.... ahhhh....

Ahhh.... Saddam oh Saddam... dun you realise that we Men always die inside the "Hole"? The deeper u penetrate the hole.... the bigger ur headaches. And fuck those terrorism... how terror can u be compared to the force of Nature? Go sell ur weapons of destruction for cash, and enjoy the countless FLs that the FL forum can offer... hmm... maybe the FLs might like some binding up and whipping... if that's ur fetish. Back to the forum, quite a transforming year... Geylang seem to have lost it's magic lure to the better options of FL bonks. But the joy of Tui Nas and ever popular HCs/KTVs still holds it own fort... supporters aplenty. And the usual shit...cheongsters forgetting to bring their hearts away after a good fuck...samsters openly lamenting and flaming each other (The latest Righteous VS Nirvana)...sigh...what's new? Cant we just accept it, admit life is short... be forgiving... and all will be well? But I do miss the legendary Sex Emperor...bwhahaha... anyone concurs? But the landmark of SB forum this year must've been the screwed reputation system... Sam thinks it's cool and cute.... Samsters beg and fuck when points are gained or deducted...I think its... simply a waste of bloody fuck time.

Fuck time?? Haizzz.... on a personal note... I've spend and devoted a lot time here since the early days. I've picked up the good points, ignored the ridiculous ones and still maintain a handful of good friendships discovered here. I'm quietly in a state of bliss now that I'm entering parenthood soon... brothers and samsters...trust me...it's a goddamn stress yet the most beautiful and emotional aspect that I've come acrossed in my entire life. It beats the hell out of even orchestrating or performing a perfect commercial sex.

Take heed, sex is universal...and can be very beautiful... it should be channelled positively and not be thwarted. Have your dosage of fun, remember to be mindful and responsible. Let's all live in a friendlier environment, spare a thought for the less fortunate... and count our blessings...

The purpose of this thread is not to create any undesirable tensions towards the subject matter. But I'd like to appeal to all brudders here to do our part for those still suffering right now.
On the 26th Dec, after X'mas I just finished my shift and still feeling the effects of the holiday season, I decided to go for a full-body massage at a HC. Total damage was around $110.
Next morning when I switched on the TV I realised that a catastrophy had happened not too far away while I was enjoying my myself the night before. Underwater earthquake measuring 9.0 on the Ritchter scale had created a killer Tsunami wiping out the coastal villages and resorts around Acheh, Phuket, Maldives, Penang and Sri Lanka. Till date the death toll has reach 125,000. Figure is expected to rise due to diseases and lack of basic supplies like food, clean water and clothes.
When I saw the faces of those who had lost their loved ones, and the dead bodies scattered and piliing in unmarked graves gave me an overwhelming sense of grief. Make no mistake, this is one of the single most destructive natural disaster to hit us in the last decade. I can only thank god that Singapore, my family and loved ones are spared from this catastrophy.

MY APPEAL TO ALL, let's forget about our own selfish urges for the time being. Let's put aside those money that we would normally spend on engaging in FLs, WLs, and whatever sinful pleasures we usually would and donate it to help the victims of the disaster, please! Frankly speaking, this disaster has kind of taken away my mood for the New Year celebration. But I will still do my part to help the victims, and I hope you guys can do the same too !!!

The reputation system, in my opinion, has been a huge success. It has added a whole new dimension to the dynamics of this on line community.

The system enables real life human interaction to be duplicated in an electronic environment. I can sit at my computer now and watch the forum equivalent of "Survivor" being played out with reputation points... strategic alliances, tribal instincts, bullying of the weak and timid, framing of the innocent, cronyism, grovelling in front of the powerful who wield huge reputation power etc etc.

The system has also helped me tremendously in the management of the forum. Previously, people would sign up, create havoc and I'd have my mail box bombarded with "reported posts" the next morning asking me to take action.

The forum is now self regulating. Anyone who displeases the community is taken out by the community by being zapped into moderation mode. I don't have to do anything.

The other thing that the reputation system has succeeded in doing is that people now value their nicks and their seniority. Nobody wants to lose points so they make every effort to contribute positively. I have a distinct feeling that the flood of free videos is all about gaining reputation points. . It would never have happened without the reputation system.

In the FL forum, the reputation system is being used to separate the fraudsters from those who have genuine contacts. Again, this has taken a huge load of my shoulders. I used to receive emails from members asking me to BAN so and so for posting false leads. My reply used to be "how would either know they're false?" Now I just say "zap the guy" and things seem to take care of themselves.

Has the reputation system been abused? of course it has... The system mimics systems in the real world. No system is perfect.. not even those which govt scholars conjure up to control the singapore electorate.

Have there been some innocent victims? Yup!... most certainly.... no different from life in the real world. I've seen innocent newbies dying an agonising "death" by zapping. I've resurrected many because I felt sorry for them. Some have gone on to become all powerful.

i can't imagine running the forum without the reputation system anymore. I'd die of exhaustion.

Well, it's New Year and it's been awhile since I've agreed to stuffs with you. Well documentated post on the positiveness about the reputation system...it has certainly took off and aided u in many ways...I can see. Yep, the amount of free vids n pics were largely due to the crazy strive for the points... like how an ikan billis in a corporation would try to inch his way up to the top... to the extend of carrying balls, begging for awards and claiming credits. I'm not ashame to admit I've enjoyed the viewpoint of this crazy vesting for authority and power... hell...it's a universal sickness. I beg to differ on the FL forum... it's still flawed.

I spent a few hours dedication writing the Year 2004 summary with intention to humour and entertain fellow forumers... surprisingly I got a Minus 1 pt and a message that read - "full of shits where i dunt like it.dedcut u.fuck off"... bwhahah... this fella must either be Dick Lee... if not Orlinda the Pig. Hmm... just goes to show the little flaw n screw up of the rep system.

It's not a screw up. It's his way of expressing his utter disgust at your ramblings. Every literary masterpiece has it's critics. You can't please them all.

Anyway I tracked the guy down and zapped 12 points off his reputation score for using foul language in the reputation remarks column. It felt good!
