If you prefer to go other country, I am suggesting you to go Batam for beginner. By ferry, 45 mins. There are lots of lao jiao and lots more info from the thread. You can even tag along some other experience bro for 2D1N or 3D2N. You won't be disappointed unless your criteria is super high. It's much more cheaper if you were to compare to tour in SG
