Ah Yap (he is not the boss, but takes care of the counter customer service and girls allocation, telephone booking etc) is very polite and customer friendly. It is a pity they went to break up their Malaysia business, intending to pave way for PRCs (something to do with quota). But now they have left only 1 PRC working for them.

Hope the boss really regrets his actions…

I was surprised to hear that AH Yap is actually not the Boss of this house. I thought in all my years cheonging there that he's the Boss/Owner of this house, and the guy who serve us hot tea and hot towel is his assistant.

So, who is the owner of this house actually? I don't think I have ever seen him in all my years there lol

As for the Malaysian gals business. Well, even though the "Malaysian Commandos" were so legendary, but in the past several years, it's kinda sad to see them having transitioned to pretty much full on "aunties" still going on. More and more FRs on them despite still effusively praising their still legendary services, but I noticed comments and notes like "she looks old" this kinda comment

No matter what, there has to be the day when their era has to come to an end. Like in football, it seems that Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi will play forever, but one fine day there will be a day when both of them will have retired...

I think the rude one that was mentioned in the previous post was very likely the real owner. He normally sits in the shop on days when Ah Yap is on leave.

Then he's extremely lucky to have Ah Yap to be his tireless loyal workhorse all these years

Personally, 1606 is my all-time favorite house mainly because of Ah Yap. Even if there are houses with much superior girls (esp THAT certain house that you have to take the stairs to ge to), sometimes I still feel like going to bonk 1606 gals.. because u know the OKTs in those other houdes can be really rude and ruin your mood
