Not sure whether here is the right place to post for advices.
I hope bros here can help to enlighten me.

Currently I am engaging the help of a PRC lady to clean my house on Sunday for 4 hours. She came to work in Singapore as a vegetable wholesale helper.
Her pay is less than $400 and her employer still take a portion of her weekend cleanings as commission. Her work permit going to expire soon.

I was thinking to convert her permit to under my name as a full time maid and help to take care of my children.
Does she has to go back to China and re-apply for permit?
Really clueless about the procedures.
Please help.

Dear Bros,

Strictly no evil thoughts. She's a 50 yo lady.
She's honest and hard working so I want her to be our maid.

If you have no evil thoughts, you're in the wrong forum. :p

you can try calling MOM or try their online service. It will let you know immediately if you can employ her or not.:)
