Makati - Massage

Stumbled on the Formosa Massage & Spa on Burgos St (2nd Floor of the Makati Palace Hotel). After a long day of attending and speaking at a conference, I was looking for a strong massage, quiet atmosphere and perhaps a sauna. Formosa was a perfect oasis!

I choose the Formosa special massage - 90 minutes. Had to wait 10 minutes; quickly offered a cold ice-lemon tea bridged the gap. Soon I was under fantastic hands delivering a strong massage with a little bit of oil in a nice atmosphere. It was just what I needed.

When done, headed to a herb scented sauna - nice heat...young girl kept bringing fresh cold water to drink as well as water to spray on the hanging herb bags and hot stones.

2 hours of recovery, fantastic service (no extras), damage was $20. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a legit massage.
