Short story: Wife and her aunty's malay husband.
Chinese New Year day 4 family gathering at wife's parents place, terrace house, 4 story high with a roof top balcony. Had dinner, a few relatives came. They intended to play mahjong through the night. Then half way through dinner, this aunty and her husband came in and wife's parents erupted in surprise
'Long time no see' 'Heard you were coming but didn't believe it...' Turn out, it was a not so distant relative. Wife's mother's youngest sister, who was only like 8 years older than us came with her husband. It was my first time seeing them. Wife later told me that they got married last year. This aunty had been avoiding family gatherings because she was single. Married really late, this malay guy was probably her first boyfriend ever. Lol. Wife had met them two years ago when she saw them in town. The malay husband was Zailani, very short hair slightly balding. Round chubby face with big eyes and think lips. He wore a long sleeve shirt with a vest and long pants. He was quite friendly, he didn't come empty handed. Bags and bags of gifts.. I saw several bottles of wine.. Was quite puzzled, why bother really, wife's parents weren't the wine drinking type... Could tell the aunty was the one who forced him to bring gifts to show everyone that they were wealthy. Mingled around. Had a short conversation with Zai. Not bad, nice guy.. Later on, saw Zai chatting with wife in the kitchen. He was making her laugh, saw him pat his own tummy.. then wife walked to the living room area. Could see his eyes following wife's butt as she walked away from him.... Me: how? Wife: what how? Me: haha, your conversation just now la... Wife: ohhhh.. Haha.. Nothing much.. Why?? Me: hehe. Thought he fits into that type.... Wife: what type...... Me: the type you'll be interested in la... Wife: oh.... Hmmmmm She turns and gave him another look... Wife: now that you mention... But isn't he old? Me: 45 right? Wife: Hmmmm... Hehe... Don't know... Don't know? She's definitely interested liao... Me: haha. I'm ok with it. He looks ok.. Wife: the vest makes him sexier.. Hehe Me: you lure him upstairs and take it off lo. Don't get caught hor.. I'll help you manage down here... Wife smiled.... Tables were set. Started to play. Some relatives went back liao... Left with wife's parents, the aunty and Zai, another aunty. Zai sat on the sofa watching the tv. Wife also... They hardly spoke... Then finally, wife got up, walked over to me. Could see zai's eyes following wife's body in her tight cheongsam.. Wife came to me: dear I got up watch tv. The mahjong tiles giving me a headache.. Me: ok. Take a nap if you need Lo. As wife walked away.. I said that loudly to let Zai hear. Knew wife was just giving and excuse to create the chance. Zai was just staring at her... I could see him in full view. After wife disappeared, he was becoming restless... He stood up and walked around us... Walked behind his wife and massaged her.. He was clearly bored... Then he went to the kitchen, came out with a bottle of wine and some of his newly bought wine glasses. Zai: can I pour anyone a drink? All the ladies and I said no thank you... Aunty: you drink la... Zai: drink alone not fun la... Me: you ask my wife? She likes red wine. Zai: oh. Where is she? Me: upstairs. The balcony now quite nice right? Cooling... Zai: ok. Thanks.. He went back to the kitchen, saw him come out with a bottle, the opener and two glasses. He avoided eye contact as he made his way up.. I notice he unbuttoned a few buttons of his shirt from the the top. Showing his hairy chest. Lol. Is that his macho move?
