Are Pappies Now Reversing Their Dumb Policies?

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Days ago, the botak Minister said 3% growth is enough for SG and mass immigration of FTsh should be reduced. Now he is saying locals should be groomed to head local banking and financial industries.

Is the Minister saying that the pappies had erred in the past for not appointing locals to helm such industries? Why the sudden reverse of their "FTsh is better policy"? Looks like GE2016 is the factor to prompt pappies to appease the sinkies.

MP Amy Khor had said SG should allow more foreigners to come in but botak Minister said they should be reduced. Is the Minister now out to do damage control?

Possibility exists that pappies are putting up wayang to bullshit here and there and when GE2016 is over, it is back to status quo of allowing FTsh to run the same industries.
