not that other govts only have one face but one should be aware.when.dealing with govt. you always have to be.weary.of, the spin and.sometimes misinformation they put out.This is.especially important in the singapore where the govt has full control of the main strream media. if you examine the diplomatic cables from the US embassy, the govt tells one thing to the public but has another intent. follow the link above and read the report
notable example are
1. To the public the PAP tells parents their.desire to educate each child to their.fullest potential. if you read wikileaks, it shows the govt wants to limit number going to university l.
2. the PAP tells the public their candidates are best and well qualified
.fact.is they have been unable to get good qualified pple and selections go down to 3rd tier.
3. ST journalists are frustrated with govt controls.
