my ex boss married at 60. his wife 25 yrs his junior.
dont be afraid to settle down old, thats the advantage for men.
i still get to date girls as young as half my age (not underaged). No i dont pay them any money like sugarbabies.

I've written about my relationship in other threads before - my girl was 20 when I met her. I was 44. Today we are still together, she is 25, I am 49. She was an ex-ktv girl, and she is also a transwoman. She started out as my sugar baby, and slowly things progressed and she made a decision to transition out of nightlife out of her own accord.

My case is highly unusual, obviously and I do not think that it should be held up as an example for others to follow, but my point being, it is not impossible. The age gap is a fixed number, what matters is the shared experiences and the willingness to understand the other person's perspective.

Yes, at first there seems to be nothing in common to talk about, but any relationship is about two different people making an effort to find common ground, so long as both want to try, it will become easier over time. Nowadays we can talk about family, money matters, transgender issues and planning for the future, just like any normal couple. I guess I lucked out, in the sense that innately she is a "good person", who believes in karma and have never really been out to harm others and take the maximum amount of money from each customer (including me).

I like to joke with my girl, that one day I will be 70plus (I hope I get to live that long) and she will only be in her late 40s to 50s. She says, that when that day comes people will no longer bat an eyelid when they see us walking down the street together holding hands.

common topics:

1. the kind of life you are looking to build. it would be common topic for her if she is looking to marry early and wants to settle down.

2. movies. songs you listen to or songs you sing in karaoke (dont ever mention lassup ktv of course). a guide on what songs and movies to talk about is to avoid the ones which happened like before she is even 12.

3. places to chill and discover. places to eat too are fine. No, dont need expensive fine dining stuff.

4. travel. shes more interested probably given her young age which correlates to her lack of travel experience.

the way you speak, probably have to transform yourself to the excitement you felt if you were 10 yrs younger.
