Try the Kinokuniya bookstore. Can also meet Japanese there. I met my high class maid FB there. Braddahs, talking cock about "high class" but really my FB maid works for well-heeled family in SG. More like concierge/assistant and ocassional maid running the household.
Other places you might want to check are high class cafes. Try Conrad Centennial and places of that caliber or higher.
