Simple, pour lots of lotion and soap onto the water bed, flush out with water, after that, fill the water bed with water again. this lower the risk. But this will eat into the time. If you worry, bring your own dettol, confirm lower the risk. Just to remind that 1 hour time is very short.

If skin has lesion, then avoid the water bed, as you can still use the normal shower head.

No plastic sheet, they do the B2B directly on the waterbed. The WL put soap on the waterbed and run the water for awhile before I lay on it. I go for Nuru frequently in BKK, the ML usually washed and wet the inflatable air mat with soap before start service. So far, no problem. It is also probably easier to get scratches on the waterbed than the inflatable air mat cuz the surface is hard and not smooth.

I prefer the inflatable air mat cuz it is larger area, fun for many slippery positions, soft and bouncy haha. I hope GL can have this.

The platform has a non-slip mat on it.
The WL will wash it first then let you lie down.

Yes agreed, the inflatable bed is better as it allow more movements.
