So far all the joints I been to have it. It's a 2-prong attack. First they want your minimum spend, then like a casino they want you to stay on, hoping that eventually your ramparts will break and your ego or drunkenness will gush out like if the 3 gorges dam breaks. They longer you stay the more chance they can either kc you, get you drunk, or rile out your ego. When you Ding Tai, mummy will ask you to hang showgirl appreciation/support flowers. Then you will hang obligatory flowers on your girl and maybe even mummy. In any case I seldom see people manage well enough to spend just above min exp. After all, even if you're controlled you still want to have a good time. Partly ding tai also pressuring the girls to have regular clients/supporters such as yourself. It's a long term strategy to hook you. It's like a spy on the ground, the longer you stay in hot zone the more exposure you subject yourself to. Either way, the house always wins. When manager smile at you and flatter you, please imagine it's a lubricated rpg giving you a ass rim. When they pull the trigger, they will rip you a new asshole...

What u said is correct. The last visit was damn a mind strategy game with a lot of will power. I was very firm that I will give the table money and off I go. My buddy also damn pissed off. He was pushed to ding tai for the other gal who sat with him.

Yup wisewords from newbieboy ge ge, personally I feel that I am the customer and it's up to me whether I want to go or not, why need to ding tai? is the business so good that no table no seat? nowadays I doubt it, unless show nights for popular singer...so no need to feel pressurized to ding tai, they should be the one feeling the pressure to get your business....

Anyway not a regular at these joints but have been to a few. This kinda joints only towkays with flexi working hours can play, not for CBD warriors like me. I also happen to love my money more than my ego, so never tio daiji (yet?). It goes against logic when sometimes you see a lone ranger throw a few k flowers and can't even get the girl to go for supper. I think only people who are into bdsm really enjoy it.

When I go, sometimes I hear naive patrons talking strategy about the girls, how to charm them and cheat them and play them out. It's like watching BPL at kopitiam where every spectator thinks he is a Arsene Wenger. Hobbyists criticizing top professionals. These people will surely burn.

For me since I only go with friends, I usually just hang the one with the best voice. The girls sometimes ask me why I close my eyes when they sing. I say I scared to see ghosts so hear voices is good enough. I might not always hang when I go, but I always unfailingly tip the waiters since they are the least paid and work the hardest for heir money (also if you really wanna play youll never know when you might need them). If you want intel they are the best source. Good to ask how many supporters, how strong and how frequent. The cashiers will also know at least roughly the tally for the month (normal waiting staff won't know how much 暗花 假花).

It is a fascinating microcosm of a lonely society, and I have fun watching other people do silly things. History is about learning from other peoples mistakes right? Some of the singers can really sing too!

i agree with you and i always put pride and ego aside to protect my wallet too. hahaha
as far as i am concerned, most singers are liars; whether just forced to lie for suvival, lie to meet monthly target or really lie to make it big, got to beware of them altho many bros still prefer singers than butterflies. get hurt and cheated a little in the wallet is better than getting hurt by KC with them. you will be sucked dry by them who are under tremendous pressure by their joints or bosses to meet monthly target. they are more "dangerous" than butterflies to hurt both financially and emotionally, altho many are still nice gals by nature.
in any case, many (really many) singers are very lousy now; no look, no body yet can't sing, no point wasting money on them.
