Not sure what your relationship with her lei...we need to know before proper advice can be given...give or not, depends on you.....by asking us for advice, then your relationship with her is questionable la...

Vietnamese Embassy ponders stance on matchmaking uproar

A representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore has told Thanh Nien the embassy “is contemplating appropriate actions” in light of a recent newspaper article about a Vietnamese bride matchmaking service.

“We must look at the issue from multiple perspectives to respond in a correct way,” said Bui Tan Long, the first secretary in charge of community affairs at the embassy.

In its October 24th edition, the Singapore’s newspaper Straits Times ran an article about Vietnam Brides International Matchmaker Company charging half-price for Singaporean men seeking Vietnamese spouses.

The story with the headline “Vietnam brides: Agency slashes fees” has sparked criticisms from readers as well as Ton Nu Thi Ninh, the former deputy head of the National Assembly Foreign Affairs Committee.

Readers say by stressing the price cut in the headline, the article was – whether inadvertently or not – advertising for overseas matchmaking services, which some view as another form of human trafficking.

Ninh, also a former Vietnamese Ambassador to the EU, suggests the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore should at least request the host country to use appropriate authority to remove “Vietnam Brides” from the company’s name as it is an insult to Vietnam.

However, Long said the name can potentially be justified as it describes the function of the company.

For instance, he said, it is acceptable for an export/import service company from Thailand that does business with only Vietnam to use the name ‘Viet Thai’ to promote its brand. “In this case, this company… [is only describing] its matchmaking services with Vietnamese women.”

But Long also said the embassy may follow Ninh’s suggestion or even take a stronger response after careful deliberations.

hi bros out there,thanks for ur advice...

here is more info abt me n her...got to noe her in mask 51,den been meeting her for the past 2 weeks...whenever im there she just sits wif me the whole night lo...she work half the time,the other half is going out wif me,even if she work we will meet up for a while aft her work...we went to hotel twice,1st time i did pay her but not for the 2nd time...the only money i have spent on her is petrol for bringing her around singapore...i think i like her lei but right now im still observing lo,so i oso not reali sure wad is our relationship...actually her pass is till 7 of dec,but she say she wan to go malaysia to find her fren n oso work together den from there go thailand,den back to vietnam together.she said dat her landlord told her if like dat oso can come bk to singapore in 2-3weeks time rather than 1mth or 1mth plus.she told me she got her current pass wif the help of a guy who like her lo...so she ask whether tis time round she can use my name wen asked by immigration officers lo...

im just wondering if she uses my name n got caught while working will i get into any trouble with the law???

Just return from Mekong Delta, still very hot as ever with no sign of rain. Heard from tour guide there is a typhoon approching HCMC yesterday.

Help or dun help the gal, you decide....

At the end of the day, you have to be clear on where you stand on your relationship with her...if she means a lot to you and you are willing to help, by all means...no matter what you are doing it for..it could be for sex, true love or whatever you get in return...as to how much she means to you, only you will know...

So long as you feel that what you are willing to help and you feel that its in your interests to help, then be prepared to face whatever that comes along with it...good or bad...., you face the consequences(good/bad) on your own. If its good then i say congrats, if its bad, then congrats as well, cos you would have learnt another valuable lesson in life...

FV hospital opens laser eye center

Ho Chi Minh City’s Franco-Vietnamese Hospital opened a laser eye center Tuesday.

FV Hospital General Director Dr. Jean-Marcel Guillon said the US$500,000 eye center would offer laser in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK) surgery.

He said the hospital received some 1,000 patients with vision problems each month.

bro, i advise you to tell her no to mess around with malaysia.

if kana caught, not like singapore ask you to buy tickets and get lost in 3 days. they will be stuck there for months...

i got personal experience getting a few girls out. very troublesome..
