I didnt even see one floor up yet after i see their 1st phase launch a year plus ago. And they are already launching their sale for phase 2 beginning of 2019.

There was a small blackout at Harbour Bay Ferry terminal during the evening time when the sun was almost set,hehehe...

...the whole 2nd floor, the side where Starbuck is and the food fair which was halfway through with the band singing was also affected.

The whole 2nd floor, from Morning Bakery to Horizon fast ferry counter was black...it was pitch black at 1st ,children starts crying as a handful of them couldnt find their parents.

Notice the above photo, Starbucks have no lights...but the other side opposite starbucks has lights? And they are on the 1st floor. So i assume ferry traveling wasnt affected,hehehe... but ferry booking at respective ferry counters on 2nd floor would surely be affected tho.

Anyway, blackout was quite a common sight (especially during peak season) but this one last more than 5 mins and in a international ferry terminal. My 1st time encounter.

Luckily there's no terrorist attack,hehehe...

Thanks all for sharing about this trip. Went to batam over the weekend for a 2d1n trip and stayed in Formosa and it was quite an experience. Am still new and not sure how to write a review but will try my best to share my experience.

Stayed over at Formosa and it's quite a decent hotel but for those who would like to have safe deposit in their room, please note that they only have those in their suites only. As for those who would like to have lie down in the bath tub like me to relax and smoke, please note that the tubs are only available in the deluxe rooms only on the 3rd floor.

Reached on Saturday and walked all the way to the hotel and it was kinda easy. Also for those who are like me and do not speak Malay, can try to download Google translate app and download the bahasa Indonesia translation for offline translation. It helps.

Upon checking in, was kinda tired plus tummy not feeling well, ordered the in-house kings massage to room service and was told 120 per hour. When the massage lady arrive, she was a small fleshy lady who don't speak much English and we converse mainly using the app. She wasn't really my kind but I remembered that there was a lot of advice to lower the expectations plus am kinda unwell, thus took her in and started the massage and it was worth it as she has really strong hands and she can use them well and not a time watcher. She asked if required special service and which I asked about the rates and was quoted 1.2juta and non negotiable which I turned down.
I will rate her massage and customer service as 8 while her looks at 7.
Not sure if okay to share her name here for those who would want a good massage thus if anyone who would like to know can just pm me.

After that, went window shopping at Nagoya mall and back to hotel to wait for a lady who message me thru michat, but we'll, sad to say she didn't turn up and thus nothing to comment much.

On Sunday, got another girl from michat before check out and luckily, this time this lady turned up. Rate was 200 for 1hr massage and 700 for st.
Looks was a 7 and was a time watcher but though she doesn't allow backdoor entrance, she won't mind people to play with it while entering from the front. Sorry, can't describe much cos kinda turned off by the time watching and was pumping all the way but just wasn't able to finish off the job and she was complaining that I overshot my time. In between , switched a few positions and even ended up going raw but just no mood and since she kept asking to add on, I say forget it.

2) Anything changed in the last months about 4G Simpati cards for Internet access and the registration hassle?
Are Simpati pre-registered cards still on sale in the arrival hall of Harbour Bay?
My last one was used in October. Maybe still active, maybe expired and dead already.
Last time, I bought my cards at Harbour Bay. and I could not find any other place where they were selling pre-registered cards, including Lucky Plaza and Nagoya Hill. Cards bought in city needed registration at Grapari, which I would be happy to avoid.

3) Telkomsel also allows to register a SIM card by SMS:
REG <space> NIK#KK# and send SMS to 4444
My question is: how do KK and NIK numbers look like? How many digits?
In case I cannot find a preregistered card, I would try with random numbers, but I need to know at least how they look like.

Nowaday no need so troublesome, when i bought my last few sim cards over the last few months, seller just photocopy my passport and tell me,the shop/s will register the sim card for me. Just like how it works in Singapore. And as long as i top up before the card expires, it will last. Works almost just like 5 years ago.

I only buy telkomsel sim card tho,so i arent sure about how other brand of sim card works today. And i mainly use 2 sim card seller. One of which is at Harbour Bay ferry terminal. Walk out of arrival, turn my head to right side and i will see the shop. There are 3 shops tho, i buy from the middle shop with a man manning it.

Unfortunately, this crazy registration thing was designed differently by Indonesian Authorities : ZERO grace period without registration of SIM cards to be activated, and a couple of weeks of grace period for SIM cards that were active already in 2018 when this new law was issued.

PS: Anyone has news about Pacific?
