in your story, obviously thomas knew he was not the most important one in your heart - but he loved you enough to allow someone else in your heart. aren't you disrespecting him and using him to make your own life easier?

in the end, there is still a void in your marriage - love.

at some point of time, you will yearn for it and probably act on it and cheat on him.. which you did according to your story.

you've cheated both emotionally, and physically. in the end you got used to and tired of that sort of life and probably put love on a shelf - but guess what, you're living half a life by doing something like that.

i don't know why people would say it is a nice or touching story. it sounds like one in which you din't bother to fight for the one you love and go all the way to be with him, but instead kept him somewhere in your heart while you took advantage of another who loved you to take care of you and be your pillar in times of need.

your version of love and marriage is gone in this day and age. feeling bored? turn to another person. feeling no love? turn to another person. its a vicious cycle to no end. if anyone thinks that technology is to be blamed, its simply making it easier to reach out to that 'other person'. humans just tend to seek the easier way out.
