Seriously you are right, you need to weigh this opportunity carefully. I think the issue of whether you can travel regionally or not is not so critical but more a personal preference. The more critical decision I believe is whether this posting will be good for your career within your company (and outside if you leave in future). Do you think you can manage to realistically achieve what your bosses want you to do (whether it is to improve sales, reorganise, turnaround, etc) for the operations. Whether you are able to achieve it is not necessarily just based on your own capability but also based on the environment, circumstances and also support provided to you. Only you will be able to assess all this and make the decision for yourself. I have seen many times that even the most capable person have failed if any of the above factors are not right. This is an important decision so think carefully before deciding.

Think the other way, it will be very good for my resume if I can make it. I have 2 yrs of regional exposure. Think it is time to move on, since big boss look me so up. But still have to consider..........

My boss believe in me, put pressure onto me. Of cos I want to be success in reorg BKK office n bring the revenue up. If I go, my portfolio will be great for other job in future. But PRESSURE might kill me...
