tink there s one 968 niteclub @ jingan temple area.. heard the mm sitting tips 1200 per session (without dabao back).. bro DT should know of this club.. some of them were even caught sleeping in the ktv room but collecting 1200 rmb after the sing song party.. wtf

南都讯 记者贺达源 市民李先生人在东莞，信用卡却被人在深圳盗刷56万余元。南山警方经过不断排查，日前将涉案的3名犯罪嫌疑 人抓获。

李先生在深圳做生意，去年他的信用卡中收到一笔生意伙伴的汇款。不料6月2日，人在东莞的李先生信用卡却被 在罗湖一家珠宝店疯狂刷掉565974元。李先生赶紧从东莞赶到南山住处辖区蛇口派出所报案。

李先生对警方回忆，此前他曾在上海一家夜总会消费时，因喝醉了把信用卡直接拿给服务员刷。南山警方根据李先 生出示的银行卡及身份证，初步认定这是一宗银行卡被复制的信用卡诈骗案，立即予以立案侦查。

立案后不久，警方顺利将盗刷信用卡的詹某某抓获，随后专案组将上家“中间人”杜某某、“接头人”林某某抓获 归案，目前仍有包括“料主”在内的两名嫌疑人正在抓捕中。警方提醒刷卡消费时务必不要让卡离开自己的视线， 以防被复制盗刷。

debit or credit or atm card have to be careful when use in china.. should put a max value cap @ per swipe.. or else 113K SGD per swipe of debit or credit or atm card realy gone in a smoke.. last time they even caught an international chinese syndicate to move stolen or dirty money out from the country..

no wonder chairman xi busy travelling to many countries to approve visa policies as well as to cooperate with the presidential heads to track down corruption and vice ops..

according to news report a taiwan gang managed to swipe away 2 million rmb
in shanxi province and compromised 200 over atm bank accounts, high tech crooks

Not surprising... I met many Msians and Chinese US citizens (ppl who just migrated to US) who are doing credit card fraud...
1 US chinese dude was arrested with 12000 cards with different data of ppl imprinted onto them... Imagine if each card can withdraw cash at $2000......

Anyway, they usually have this gadget that is around 10cm long, looks like a pencil box lidat... whereby once your card swipe through, they collect all your card's data. Unless your card got PIN... else they can swipe and anyhow sign to bill onto you. Which is why, never let your card out of your view when you do payment.

Part 2, POS machines can also pose a danger. sometimes infront of you, the staff will swipe the card, while u key your PIN.. next thing, the POS will indicate to you that the transaction fail. The staff will kei siao tune the cable behind the POS, at the same time, say the cable not good, and change to another cable...(the real POS cable). So the first time you key your PIN, it goes into their linked Computer and that's it, your PIN is with them!

Take note: Credit card usually have 24hrs of so called "risk free" insured loss if you call the bank on time...but Debit card and ATM card = SUAY SUAY LOH... bcoz its your own $$ not the bank....

my policy is always to use cash, never trust any POS machines or service staff at ktv,shopping centres or shops
i read the news in china daily , these type of fraud cases are happening in china too often most of victims are in south china
they really target the richer cities - shenzhen,xiamen , hangzhou
as the saying goes never trust the china people ,now you know why
