let me share my little opinion about this.

with my limited cheong sexperience in cp, every year from time to time i have seen people get bored and complaining about cp, then they start to roam around other towns/cities like FS, DS, ZMT, SL and etc. however, as you rightly mentioned, in most of the cases those guys still come back to cp.

from my observation, i concluded that this is due to "the way of playing".

when you roam around other town or city, you might save maybe 20% - 30% on the cost, but there is no one town that as convenient as cp. also, you would need to compromise the variety and quantity, which indirectly affecting the quality. but what is 20 or 30% saving to the seasional cheongsters? most of the taikors that i know don't really care about such saving.

worse is, you are still playing the same game when you roam around, it is still ktv, sauna, bbs, bar... tackle the semi working girls like waitres, dj, foot massage... the way of playing is nothing different than in cp.

with the same way of playing, but compromising the variety, quantity and the convenience in order to save the small sum, most of the guys will still feel that cp is a better option.

unless, you will able to find the different way of playing, which is new and exciting (at least in the beginning), then, you will never look back to cp.

Spending in CP might be even higher than you cheong in SG .

If one who looking for a budget cheong , I would advise him to stay in SG to cheong , don't waste air tix and travel 5-6 hrs to CP

Yes, couldn't agree more - especially that one near Chang Ping! But I've been to one in shanghai that's via a side-door Of a very luxe restaurant - and it's quite plush and can compete with some of the lesser casinos in SE Asia.

My friend also goes to one that's also well established and run by some very powerful backing in Dalian; so I imagine that there are others in China too.
