You may call them to request your check in and check out date for available room and rate. Though no deposit require when you make the reservation, its often fully booked by budget tourists. However it had disappointed me when they quoted me 900 baht per night for 31-May to 1-Jun'13, during the peak season when Malaysia had its holiday.
It was opened on 21-Feb-2013 and quote me 600 baht per night, even the same rate for SG & MY holidays. Since it was fully occupied during my last 2 trip, I did not have any chance to stay there. Maybe I would try it next time. By looking at their photos, don't think it has bath tub available.

Cheers
brother... were u in HY last week also?
I didn't book a room prior to arrival... and told the airport van dropped me in front of Sakol.... gdi..... was told I got the last room of the date on 30May.... as quoted by the agency opposite sakol.... at gdi 1300 baht...
the agent boss suggested me to stay elsewhere the other day.... and said the rate would be around at least 1300 baht
Then I walked across the road and check in to my rather compact room... my bed was placed right next to the wall.... like I was staying in tune KL LCCT....
Walked up to the Pink to see if I could pick up any MILF.... disappointed that all were aunties.... either the massage or soapie was discouraging... was quoted 2000 Baht by the Papa at Soapie.... only about 6 oldies there....
the next morning... I dropped into Be my guest and was told to come back at 1200 for a room at 900 baht... as I didn't hv chance to get a preview... despite all positive comments from the net, I just kept walking until around the corner after BP Grand, then I saw 707.... popped inside and was convinced to get a room at HY Central at a rather reasonable 900 Baht....
Despite a bit dated.... location wise and the room size are fair enough .... I would see it a bargain as its public holiday in Malaysia
also booked my airport transfer at 320 Baht... and bought a discount voucher for the corner massage shop at 220 Baht... at 707 Agency
good afternoon to all. I will be heading down to hat yai in july with 2 other friends and got some burning questions to ask old birds here.
would u advise us to live in separate hotel rooms or book a common apartment, which means to say 3 different rooms and 1 living room kind of hotel.
Also, since we will be travelling by bus, will it be convenient to travel all the way to the farms as we do not know the way etc.
Lastly how do we determine which farms offer a better price so we may avoid being carrots.
thanks in advance
I duno how much for 3 rooms and a hall. But its best to have individual room. U can book 2 connecting room and a 3rd room beside or opposite these 2 rooms. The price for these 3 rooms will be avg 1K baht (+- 50 to 80 baht) per room per night for a 3 star hotel like Golden Crown Plaza (about 6 yrs old, New Season and Mayflower [about 3-5 yrs old i presume] which is about 3-5mins walk to Lee Garden PLaza. These hotel should be ok unless ur standard is always those 5 star hotel.
U dun have to take bus to find kfc. Do more research in these thread bah. Dun be lazy.
Lastly, read the latest last 10 page for the price of farm bah. Dun be lazy.
what i meant by bus is taking a coach from SG to hat yai (:
nevertheless, thank you for the valuable information.
Journey from sg to HY,
By bus - 14 hours and cost ard avg S$50 (duno 1 way or 2 way cos never take b4)
By plane - 1 hour 15mins exclude waiting time at airport (Usually ard S$150-170 - 2 way). From HY airport, take taxi (avg 300 baht) to ur hotel near Lee Garden Plaza about 20mins.
If u stay around Lee Garden, walking to the farm will be around 30mins if u know the way. If u stay at New Sakura hotel, distance cut by half. U can also take a tutu (20 baht per pax) and drop off nearby the farm. Wait until the tutu left then u visit the farm to avoid commission earn by them (usually 500baht).

S$50 should be 1 way from SG to Hatyai.. return trip can be booked at the tour agencies in Hatyai.. total to and fro should cost below S$100.. I wont recommend to go by bus just to save that S$50 to S$100.. but if you are booking your flight last minute, it will definitely costs way too much..
I paid about S$250 for my air tickets because I have quite a big amount of lugguage and my schedule for home leave is only confirmed at the last minute..

.
New Seasons and Mayflower for sure are not less than 5 years old. They were renovated 6-7 years aao, and would be at least 12-15 years old Hotels.
Golden Crown, don't remember they were renovated before.
But all 3 hotels are very conveniently located. Mayflower should be rated the best. The renovation was much better than New Seasons. Wifi in Mayflower is the best.
