Wouldn’t it just be easier to ignore items you’re not interested in? And if you do have something to contribute to the body knowledge, to then actually contribute?

I might not have been to cp at 2006/07 , but I am sure there isn't any ktv hardware and software is as good as now .

Actually on lighter note who ever come cp and china cities to monger are "little carrots" those who tipped more than market rates and throw in expensive gifts and monthly or trip allowances are "big carrots" .. Me now in china southern part also carrot but which ever carrots types u n me fall in ... as long u happy can le Bottom line is dun think everything will stay forever dun over spent beyond ur limits ...

IMHO, There is no one group of mongers who can (or has) dictated the inexorable rise in CP prices, except for the Local PRC lads themselves.

Prior to the opening of the more luxurious (and higher priced) hotels and KTV’s in Chang Ping i.e. the EuroAsia and the YiHao, most local mongers had considered Chang Ping to be too low-class a mongering destination for them, offering only cheap entertainment to the dregs of society, Hong Kong Truck drivers/security guards, Taiwanese Factory/salary men, and of course their own lower class subordinates etc. There’s hardly a way for them to maintain “face” if they are known to be habitués of these establishments in Chang Ping.

The opening of the EuroAsia, coupled with the start of a definite break-away from the old 2-5-8 pricing towards prices more in-line with other venues in Dongguan i.e. Houjie, DongCheng, Tangxia etc. (which is more to their liking – and perceived as being more worthy of their “Class!” LOL!) heralded the arrival of more and more local PRC punters to Chang Ping. Nowadays, ever plusher hotels and KTV’s are opening up, old venues are being radically up-graded and those that cannot match the luxury and plushiness of their competition are slowly being marginalized out of the market.

The only hope I can see towards a return to saner prices in Chang Ping would be if the Chinese economy does tank-in, as how a lot of pundits have been predicting.

Hi there, I think prostituion is like gambling, both quite recession proof. People will still go even when times are bad. I don't think the price will go down, it will just not go up in the case of recession. If those establishment's business is bad, they will just come out with more promotions.

In CP it is confirmed that prices are going up, the establishment's middlemen like mummy's cut are definitely going up.

One interesting point I see here is people discussing about the increase in money to the girls and their attitude not improved. What about the increase in fee payments to those mummies, captains etc? To me they just profit in the general increase and who is to say their service is better? To me a lot of the mummies at well known ktvs their service level go down as well.

whether big carrot or small carrot, all have a budget in mind. Consider myself a small carrot, my current budget is only 4k rmb per night every year increase by 10% liao but still too poor to take only 1 gal per night

I was surprised that one of 2 of you who claimed to be stationed around CP have not gone into baoing cos the prices range from 10K to 30K rmb & the mean price is only 20K rmb per month at the bao shop leh

yup.....usually those gals who saved up are those who are on the wrong side of the age group.
the golden era is always 17-25...beyond that.....
gals in this line age faster....due to excessive drinking, smoking n nightlife.

when they first come to cp....as a young 16,17....they are drawn by the easy money n start to indulge in all the extravagances.
they are young nubile.....no qualms about spending n giving coz can always earn back.
but when age sets in.....reality bites....lesser chances of getting picked....less income.....XLG leave them for younger options.....
it is a vicious cycle.

you can try telling those syts to save up n all the stuffs....but chances of listening near zero.....

Bro when u read posts in this forum no mentioned of Bao deals eventhough they stationed at china or cp sometimes cannot intepret as they are not into it.. Jus that they worry of other bros poke fun at them.. At the end of it is after all other ppl business they have the right to keep this affair as private ..
