Local will not wear them like a accessories where they can't go without. To them it a chores, weather is not suitable etc. Also mostly the heels they have when buying and trying is without hosiery so when they wear them with it sorta of become slippery and cause abrasion.

All in all local no culture in it frankly even Jap gals feel relieve in sg they don't have to wear it everyday at work.

Somehow it become PRC culture to wear them more.
