Not adviseable if you are a newbie, non regular and not a good friend of that mamasan. Feedback is only given when requested. In this case, before you bar fined #76, did mamasan asked you for a feedback ?.

In my case, mamasans usually ask for a feedback on the girl i took out when i return to that bar later because the mamasans know me. Do they know you as a regular or are you just a one time faceless customer like so many others ( don't get all hot ,no bad feelings intended, me just plainly stating a fact ).

You can if you want, get cosy with that mamasan, buy her a few good drinks and then complain to her about # 76's attitude and half service, and the 1, 600 vs 2,000 baht ST rates. But it would do you no good because the Rainbow bars are very, very commercialised.

No, mamasan didn't ask for any feedback on my gal, before i bar-fined her. In fact, most of the talking was between my friend and her.

Anyway, if i decided to re-visit the place tonite again, i would expect the mamasan to recognise us - and ask for our feedback w/o us taking any intiatives. Will see how it goes. If not, there are always other joints which we can patronise.

Probably it will be good to hang out with regulars like you, if there's ever a chance.

Mamasan Ann from r1 is very season, just tell her your displeasure, she should tell the girl off. very nice bubbly lady, lol even helped me find a apartment when i was looking for one, but sadly had to reject that offer cuz the apartment was the very same 1 as my gik LOL

Not sure if it was Ann that i was liaising with in R1 all these while since she introduced herself as "A" to us - might be her since she was forever going around the bar and making sure everyone is well taken care of, with her bubbliness.

Having said that, it was obvious that i had a revisit to R1 on Tuesday nite, after a wasted trip to Soi Cowboy, as the quality of the gals in Baccarra was atrocious. Didn't really bother to check out the rest of the joints in Soi Cowboy and headed straight back to NEP.

Decided to check out R2 and R4 and didn't really catch an eye on anyone in any of the joints - there were couple of them in dreadful condition, some dressed in black outfit that mixed among the rest in yellow and white. My friend and I made the decision to head back R1, without any intention to seek out an answer on the incidents that happened the previous nites with the gals. And in fact, it was Mamasan A who spotted us not long after we settled at the podium seats and ushered us to one of the empty tables at the back. The gals from the previous nites seemed to have made an "official" report to her and she was quick to bring out the topic on the 1600THB vs 2000THB issue and insisted that she mentioned that ST was indeed 2000THB for both gals and my friend may have mixed up the barfine with the agreed ST pricing. Anyway, we didn't really want to pursue and just told her to forget the entire incident - and we were there again to enjoy ourselves.

Again, to cut my story short, she manage to bargain a LT session with one of the gorgeous at the podium - at 3000THB, and i really appreciated her effort this time round, as i can see her air of confidence in persuading the gorgeous to accept my offer.

I had really no complaints about my choice this time round - a 24 year-old sweet looker. But LT usually is 3,000 THB so its not a bargain of any sorts.

In fact, i have set my eyes on the gorgeous upon shifting over to the back seats and after umpteen times of eye contact. Not until she had taken her break and back to the podium again that i requested Ann to signal her down.

Ann quoted me 3500THB for LT (i suggested a LT session before the gorgeous came over) and i insisted on 3000THB - the gorgeous mentioned 4000THB and was absolutely cool about it when Ann opened discussion with her on my offer. It was all agreed in 5 minutes time. Recalling back the incident now, it does makes me wonder if it was really Ann who did a great job convincing the gorgeous to take up my offer or simply she was really nonchalant about it (perhaps the chemistry between us starts right from that moment. )

How far you get conned is about how far you let yourself get conned. If you walk into any place and just have a drink, and keep yourself strictly from doing anything else, the most they can get you for is your drink. If indeed they do. RCA is a stretch of clubs, so very unlikely that you'll get conned by the service staff.

Just watch yourself, and you should be fine.

I've never had problems with walking into a place, be it Cowboy or Nana, order a drink then go off. If you were forced to bar a girl every time you walked in... people won't be able to barhop and look around.

As for Patpong, stay on the first floor, and try not to walk into the gay areas, unless that's your kinda thing.
