Make sure you carry your prescription with you. I know of many cases where guys bought ED medication from LOS and were caught out by customs when they returned to SGP. Even for own personal consumption you still need to have a doctor's prescription if the medication is on the controlled list and not available over the counter.

Most probably they have been marked by Customs and all their packages are intercepted for checking..... and confiscated if the items are on the restricted or prohibited list or contraband...... resulting in non-delivery to the customers.

The retail price at most pharmacies for Sidegra 100mg is 180baht for a box of 4 tabs and 100baht for a box of 50mg x 4 tabs.
Unless you have been buying yours from the touristy shopping malls where prices for everything is marked up.


On a sidenote - Sidegra is also now prescribed for patients with heart disease...... which was never intended for in the first place but doctors have found them to be effective in the treatment for heart patients.

That is about less than S$8 bucks.
I just got some from local hosiptal...
at S$45 per box of 4 X 100mg

The recommended retail price is 180baht for 4x100mg tabs.
However if you buy from the touristy shopping malls the prices are marked up..... I understand in Boots pharmacy they are retailing at 480baht for the exact same stuff.

I usually go to the small mom & pop pharmacies in Yaowarat or on the outskirts where they serve mainly locals.
Or if I am traveling through the provinces then I get from the pharmacies located there.

I have tried to order some mens stuff in. Waited n waited. Then receive a letter from HSA asking me go down to collect. Went down n got a warning that if I tried to import such items in again, I will be fined etc etc. Made me sign the document n went back empty handed.

Let's see.... 20/1000 = 1/50 = 2% chance of confiscation. That means 98% chance of no confiscation. Sounds like quite good odds. Maybe that's why I have been lucky.

I guess the basic rule in Sgp is that u can do anything u want, just don't get caught. If ur caught, just be prepared to face the consequences.

True. I was asked to do the same but not for pills. For electronic products....depends on luck i guess.

Just to share from my own experience about a few years back. I had ordered some Viagra and Cialis online, expected to arrive within two weeks. After two weeks, instead of getting the stock I receive HSA letter. They want me to go down to collect and explain the purpose of my ordering from overseas. They also wanted me to bring my prescription as proof of my condition.

I chose to ignore but I understand that my particulars was recorded and the meds destroyed. (kena mark liao). I am not sure about what HSA will do now. So I went overseas to get a prescription and buy them from the doctor. It turns out to be cheaper and I do not get checked when i hand carry the meds into Singapore. Senior members here will know as I get for them as well.

I think it boils down to luck and size of the packaging. Good luck if you choose to purchase online. Cheers.

Suggests following (if in similar situation): Go see any GP: Consultation about $20; 4xCialis about $90. Go down HSA with Cialis / receipt. Tell them oversea cheaper.

Buy from JB pharmacies about MR150. No need prescription. No problem with custom. Cheers.

Recently I met up with an old friend who is now an administrator at the Government Pharmaceutical Organisation (the Thai government department that manufactures Sidegra for its citizens)..... since the launch of the locally made Sidegra last year they have collated reports of various effects reported by the users of Viagra, Levitra, Ciallis and other ED drugs that has the same composition/dosage of sildenafil citrate as Sidegra. The results are quite interesting...... it was found that users with different medical conditions had different reactions and side effects although all of them were taking the same dosage of sildenafil(100 mg of sildenafil citrate).

Cardiovascular patients : flushing(10%), angina pectoris, chest pains, hypotension, postural hypotension, palpitations, syncope, tachycardia, abnormal electrocardiogram, atrioventricular blockage, cardiac arrest, cardiomyopathy, cerebral thrombosis, heart failure, myocardial ischemia & hypertension.

Central Nervous System : headache(46%), insomnia(7%), parentheses(3%), dizziness(2%), abnormal dreams, ataxia, decreased reflexes, depression, hypertonia, hyperesthesia, migraine, neuralgia, neuropathy, tremor, vertigo, anxiety & seizure.

Respiratory : dyspnea exarcebated(7%), sinusitis(3%), asthma, bronchitis, increased coughing, increased sputum, laryngitis & pharyngitis(2%).

Musculoskeletal : myalgia(7%), arthritis, arthrosis, bone pain, myasthenia, synovitis, tendon rupture & tenosynovitis.

These are just some of the side effects of consuming sildenafil........ in conclusion ED medication is not for everybody. Do consult a medical professional before you go out and buy some of these ED medications.

IT MAY COST YOU YOUR LIFE OR INTO SERiOUS MEDICAL SITUATIONS!!

Customs at JB crossings usually do not bother if the amount is small...... but sometimes if you kenna a siao on officer on duty or if you bring in too many packets then they have to take some action as too obvious to close one eye.

I dun think its so casual. But if one feels that its worth the risk, by all means.
