Hotel81 cheats, dont pay EXTRA for big/good room

I thnik certain location just charge higher for 2hrs..even if u hv already paid the $10 "membership", from my exp, Changi and bencolen..i've ever asked the counter lady whats so special that they charge $10 extra ? she didnt give me an explanation

Any bros knwo of other locations that charge $30 for 2 hrs..so that we can avoid the place

Called up H81 at balestier for overnight rate and was told $110....Gosh that was almost 2 times the rate compare to H81 in Geylang.

I paid for H81 membership a few years ago. As far as I see it has several benefits:

1. No need to pay the deposit
2. Discount for overnite (although I have never stayed overnite)
3. They give you a bigger room if they have one available. Room sometimes has a VCD/DVD player too

If I'm not wrong, the discount for members for overnight rooms is at $10. So for example if the room is available at $100 for non-members, we members get it at $90. It is quite worth it for members who stay in hotel81 for like at least a few times a month. But when it comes down to cash for transit rooms, we're just like the non-members only thing is, we are not required to leave a deposit with the counter.

Spended extra time gone back to clarify with Changi81 liao. Manager said I must had left my key in the room and did not checkout. What a great reasoning. The Manager said will need to check and should be cleared of this outstanding.

BUT! even till now checking in other H81, frontdesk just stared at the monitor screen for sometime and then inform that I had outstanding payment at Changi81!!. What this means????

just to check, after membership by right should be 20$ le right? was always at lucky & it had always been 20$ for me. but was thinking of trying chinatown but wanna make sure no price diff.

Hotel81 along Joo Chiat area no longer allow transit due to new regulation passed down. Other than town area Hotel 81 at Kovan also charges $30 for 1st 2 hrs and $15 for subsequent hour. No extra surcharge for PH and if you are lucky they may give you bigger room at no additional cost
