CebuAir got promotions on regular basis.... be patient and lookout for these promotions and grab quickly because they sell out fast.

I managed to get mine for Nov 2010 at only sgd$91.00 + $5 insurance = total $96.00

I dun bother with Tiger cos they are very unreliable. Clark is not a popular destination for them and they have been known to pull out the plane to service other sectors if the passenger load is low.

The other alternative is fly into Manila and travel to Balibago

Greetings from the land of smiles! One of these days, I will definitely travel to Angeles City! Please PM, if whole bunch of members will meet at the AC! I want to join the gang for a week of partying and drinking but not too much whiskey! Last time I was there was back in 1997 &1998!

I want to thank Bushnell and A**** for sharing information regarding Cebu Pacific Airlines, I was going to fly China or Thai Airways!

Bangkok Hotel, FA

Korean owned. I checked with the front desk to find out why its so hard to get confirmation of reservations. Turns out that the wife (pinay) of the owner is the reservations manager; she is the only one who can update the records and on past experience, tends not to be on top of things and being the bosses wife who dare to say anything?

Korean restaurant at the front of the hotel serves pretty decent Korean food...most meals range from 250-280p..rice servings is quite huge for me.

Aura bar located at the back belongs to the same guy, patronised mostly by you guessed it, Koreans. Both times I was there (Jan & April) saw guests literally throwing lots of 20p notes onto the dance floor & dancers will also line up to collect money (20p) until the money ran out...girls there don't need to work too hard

There are better hotels on Fields Ave than Bangkok Hotel.
Rooms are tiny and cramped.

Royal Amsterdam is a great choice if u can get hold of the cheaper rooms when u book in advance.
Walkabout Hotel is good too. (Beside Vortex)
Welcome Inn average.
Le mirage Apartell (Above Carousel)

Trying staying in Perimeter Rd hotels if u like cheaper and quieter accommodations.
Hotels start from 800pesos for standard rooms.

Yup I stayed at RA during my trip. Had the economy room @ 1,390P...good value.

Next trip I probably will stay in Perimeter...also want to explore more bars in that area. Its like diamond hunting

but I like!

next trip is the hotel opposite, Royal Amsterdam i think...

Orchid Inn (now calling itself Orchid Inn Resorts) is great location (next to the entrance to Fields at the Atlantis end) and good rate (P1500 for the cheaper room, the P2750 room is very big with king bed, DVD/cable and big LCD flat screen).

Big difference to me, after I shuffle last night's entertainment out the door, there is a good menu of food with no surcharge for room service.

Happy westerner with happy hunting grounds right outside my door...and considering I bagged a nice hidden gem for P1500 overnight, I'm extra happy.

Apart from DHG, GN, L&M, the rest in Fields is 1500P diba

Every trip is always good.
Royal Amsterdam is very good value for the service and facilities and location.
But cheaper rooms always get sold out fast.

I didn't know hotels charged extra for room service esp from their own kitchen/restaurent.
