anyway, just came back from hospital. doctor says it shouldn't be that serious. swelling is natural and the infection should be superficial. so she prescribe me with 2 different type of antibiotics. i also gotten chlorhexidine to replace the salt solution to clean my wound

I dunno about you, but for my case, after my circumsition, i diet on many for, chicken, fish, seafoods, all stop, only take pork and vege, but vege also depends on which type...

Also if the doctor operates using laser rather than conventional, which use scissors, will heal faster...

Just to share my experience.

It's been 3 weeks since my circ and I am wondering if the swelling will go down at all.

Right now the "ring" of skin touches the base/rim of the head such that I have to pull it down slightly to expose the whole thing. Will this skin ever flatten and shrink so it sits behind the rim?

It may also be due to a loose style. Any of you guys able to touch a bit of your head with your shaft skin if you push it up?

yeah they should have... eh yes! should have given the bluey chlorohexidine... clean your wound with it... it kills the bacteria...

Just to share my experience.

For me, i take chicken but mostly breast as it contains zinc.
Fish yes but very little, everyday take vitamin c and zinc tablet.
On second week onwards, take snakehead essence to help with healing.
Have not eaten any seafood yet.( potent ones like shrimp, crab,etc.)

day5

there seems to be lesser swelling as compared to yesterday. however there are still pus on my wound. hopefully it will go away after a few days of antibiotics and good cleaning. i have also wrapped my LJ with gauze protect my wound and protect my undies from staining.
pain is no longer any issue. i just want the wound to heal asap.

my diet is just avoiding prawn and crab. chicken and fish i just eat as per normal. doctor say no need to avoid any specific type of food though.

a piece of my stitches fell off. no idea why as i though they should only dissolve after a week. but no biggie, i think

my chlorhexidine is Red in color. like diluted rose syrup. but just colors sia, who cares?
the dried pus on my wound is hard to clean off. But doc says just leave it be. forcing it out will be more tramatising to the wound.

Day 6
I woke up in the morning with strange pain. i went to change my gauze and to my surprise, 2 stitches fell off with it (stuck onto the gauze). it's only day 6 and stitches are falling off? its alittle early!

i still can't tell if my infection has been reduced though. still got dry pulse around. it better be working...

Some times the stitch is unwound and pulled out by the gauze. As long as the wound doesn't open up, u should be ok..

R u sure the yellowish discharge is pus? Coz I had smth similar and the doc said that it isn't. One simple way to check is if the surounding area of the wound feels warm. If it does, then the infection is still there. But seeing u r on antibiotics for ard 3 days, I guess it should be cleared.

To anyone thinking of cutting, recovery is a bitch! As what my friend's bf said, "don let the recovery process get u down. U will love ur cock much more aft this"

the warmth of the surrounding seems normal. however i can see that the area around the stitch line is swollen (reddish) and around there are a lot of dried yellowish pus, especially at the frenulum.
I change the gauze around every 3 hours. it has a mild foul smell.
therefore i think it's an infection.
what else could it be?

i just scare the broken stitches = more open wound = more infection = bai bai LJ
comeon antibiotics! kill those bacterias!

Hmm sounds alot like my recovery... The gauze will harden wif the yellow discharge. Smells abit fishy too?
If u wan, u can buy fusidic acid cream and apply it on ur wound.
It is an antibiotic cream. Not sure if they have it in sg coz I get mine from malaysia...
Hmm u left ur frenulum intact?

yea, frenulum still intact. but alot of stitches below it.
the gauze no longer smell as bad as before. but still got pus around. swollen level abit lower compared to yesterday.
i think all antibiotic things must be procured from doctors in singapore. plus im already taking 2 kind of antibiotics, it should be fine....
see how it goes.

day 7
i removed my gauze carefully and slowly. but still, 1 stitches fell off and it was a straight "OUCHHHHHHHHHH" for 1 full min.
good news is swollen level is even lower now. and pulse are mostly the dried old pus that are stuck to my skin. i think the antibiotics are working. With the bad bad bacterias gone, i hope that the healing can finally begin....
